Why I have chosen this location?
I have decided to use this industrial estate as this is used to set the scene of Amanda’s busy work lifestyle.
As it is quite busy with many cars it will help to represent Amanda’s work place. I would be filming only a
couple of scenes here as there are only two days in the film in which Amanda goes to her place of work.
This location will always be accessible as it will never be closed meaning I can have filming times of
whenever.
This is a very busy industrialestate
therefore there will be a lot of cars
about therefore I will warn my actors
before filming here and I will make sureI
film here on a Sunday or something like
that as this is the least popular day for
people working here.
The lighting isn’t very clear or good
so I will haveto pick a day in which
the sun is out so the lighting will be
good enough.
Why I have chosen this location?
This will be my main filming location as this is setting the scene of Amanda and Simon’s home life meaning
the audience can build better relationships with the audience. Furthermore as this is an in use kitchen it
will make the film look realistic as nothing will look staged. Furthermore as this is my house it will always
be accessible with no obstructions in the way.
There are a lot of wires in which I will haveto
warn my actors before filming as this could
causeelectrocution as the wires are also next
to the kitchen sink. The kettle could also be a
hazard as if this I son I will haveto warn my
actors because this is a burning hazard.
The cupboards havesharp edges
which are head height so I will have
to again warn my actors before
entering to stay away fromthe
cupboards when filming as this could
causea cut to themselves.
The sharp corners on the edge of the
kitchen side could be named as a
hazard as they will be around hip
height on my actors so I will warn
them and will cover them up when I
am not filming.
