young people into the city so that they can enjoy their favorite
artist whilst also having a good night out in the club

it relevant. Use
Create a cinemagrap to
advertise the concert.
Create a virtual game where the consumer
has to go around York and they learn about
historical buildings and the history of york
as they ate playing. This game will be
similar to games such as PokƩmon Go
Create a cinemagraph
series to advertise the
main attractions in
york
Demographics
This is the annual population history of York throughout the years. As we can see from. The
last known population for York in 2014 is 204 400. if the growth rate is the same from the
years 2011-2014 which is a total of +1.11% a year this would make the current population
for 2019 be 216 034.
As we can see the average age population for for York is higher than
the rest of England and Wales and throughout the years it is
increasing quicker than the rest of England and wales. From the
years 2002 – 2017 the average age population for york has gone
from 41 years old to now 43 years old where the rest of England
and wales age population has gone from around 39 years old to 40.
This shows that York has a lot more older people in there early 40’s
living in the city and it is increasing quicker than other cities.
The amounts of students at the University Of York is 17,900 within the academic 2016/17. 43% of students at University of
York are male and 57% are female.91% of the students are in full time study and the other 9% are part time

I asked 20 people 10 male and 10 females what music genres they
listened to and then put it into a graph. I chose the most popular genres
which were hip-hop , pop and rock. The results I got where that 11
people listen to hip-hop, 8 people listen to pop and 0 listen to rock and 1
listens to any other genre. Most males I asked listened to hip-hop (7) and
most females listened to pop (6)
Audience Profiling
My audience for this specific project is going to be 18 to 25 year olds and I will be
targeting both males and females but my primary target will be males because
from my research I found out that more females especially students are in york
than males so this will be a good audience to target so that I can get more males
to come to york and my secondary audience will be females. I will target my
product the working class and those of the lowest level of subsistence as people
between this ages will mainly either be in university where they may have part
time jobs on the side or even might not have a job or maybe doing an
apprentice.

Mood Board Analysis
I made 3 different mood boards. The first one was was a mood board about nightlife / night
events. The second one was music posters and the third one was of attractions around york.
From the first mood board some similarities they had is that it was all just a regular concert
with the crowd enjoying the music and all the flashing lights so when I make my cinemagraph
for the music concert this will be important to include. On the second mood board where I
looked at concert posters common features that they all had were they all use a dark color
scheme. They all also use big bold texts that can stand out and easily be seen by the
consumer from a distance. In the last mood I looked at different tourist attractions around
York and noticed that all the attractions are old historical buildings as York a historical town.
My mood board will influence my final product as I will try and make it link together. So when
am doing a cinemagraph for the concert I will use the normal conventions that you would get
in a music poster and for my other cinema graphs I will link it into the other mood boards that
I have done and make it reflect onto the target audience
Poster Analysis Poster has a very simple color
scheme of just back and white. This
is effective because it allows the
audience to be able to read the
information without too much on
the poster. The black background
could suggest power and
mysterious. The mysterious element
also links into the band and the
bands name and it being
mysterious.
At the bottom of the page we
have a photo of the band. This
allows the consumer to see the
photo and recognize the band
before they read any of the
information on the poster.
At the top of the page there is
the bands name. this is in big
bold text. This allows the band
name to stand out from a
distance to the consumers so as
they are far away it will draw in
their attention
Here we have the location of the
concert and the date and time
underneath. The location is in a big
bold text so it can again be seen
very easily with the time and date
underneath this in a regular text.
Layout
Here I will
include the
photo of the
band / artist
I will include
the bands /
artists name
Here I will include a
glitch effect

Color Pallet
For my color palettes I have looked at many different colors that work well together
so that when I am doing my cinemagraph and I want to add text to promote the
concert for example I know what colors work well together and will work effectively
for my work. When I am choosing my colors I will reflect it and think about how I can
link it into my target audience and think about what the connotations of the colors
could be and how can be used effectively within my work such as the color green
suggests youthfulness and harmony and this may be a good color to use to target my
younger audience.
