  Analyse the Band/ArtistPosters in your groupsUsing denotation/connotation.What does the poster connote regarding the representation of the artist? Who is the target audience? Include a full demographic profile.(You must all write at least one point. Put your name next to your point).

  The Start ofyour ResearchYou now have 6 weeks to complete your research.Even though most of you are working in groups – research submitted must be individual.You devise an artist/brand together – you use this made up artist for the group and individual tasks. However, you cannot all use the same photographs.The research goes towards your final grade, alongside the production and evaluation.You will each have a research page that you will need to upload work too. Ensure all your work is placed on the Wikispace.

  TasksDecide on 4-6artists you might analyse who are similar to yours.Task 1 Title: Research how similar artists to your own are represented. Analyse 2-3 similar artists on a word document. Copy images of the artists and annotate around the image. You might want to use poster images, screen shots from music videos, website images etc.(Use your own words. Do not copy and paste. You will be caught for plagiarism by the exam board).
