This document summarizes research conducted to understand the target audience for a potential pop music magazine. The researcher interviewed 10 people, asking them 7 questions about an example magazine's cover design. Most respondents said the example magazine's pink color and images would make them pick it up, and its layout looked professional. The researcher concluded the magazine's target audience is teenagers based on its use of bold colors and images. To reach this audience for the new magazine, the researcher will employ bright colors, varied fonts, and close-up model images with high-key lighting on the cover.
