Duties and responsibilities for post contract services:
 Design review and Supervision of HVAC, Plumbing (Drainage, Water supply &
Firefighting) Systems, Water storage facility, Laundry and kitchen equipments.
 Coordinate with the local utility agencies such as civil defense, water authority and
local municipality for drainage system.
 Supervision of Construction project quality control and monitoring of construction
activities
 Monitor the construction program closely and recommend any remedial actions to
the project director in the event of any delay.
 Selection of HVAC, Water Supply, Sewer, Surface water drainage & Fire Fighting
Equipments.
 Checking Contractor’s shop drawings and material submittals.
 Prescribe setting out information to the contractors, check setting out, instruct
corrections where necessary and receive setting out records.
 Co-ordination with specialists consultants for Concept Architecture, Infrastructure
consultants, Façade, Laundry, Kitchens, Interior design, Structure designer, elevator

consultants, Fire Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, Value Engineering specialists,
Project management teams, clients and local authorities representatives
 Supervise the work on site, examine the plant materials and workmanship employed,
receive the supplier / contractor’s notices of work being ready for inspection or tests
to be carried out and attend as soon as possible.
 Certify work completed and payment due so as to ensure that the provisions of the
construction contract are met in full and in particular to exclude any unsatisfactory or
incomplete work or deliveries.
 Attend all site management, progress, construction coordination and quality and
safety meetings as and when requested by the project manager
 Involvement to issue the taking over certificate in collaboration with the project
manager and cost consultant to the contractors.
 Supervise the commissioning of all plant and systems and the reliability run and
decide if satisfactory or not. In the later case, immediately instruct the necessary
corrective action notifying the project director in writing of the contractual and
technical implications
 Implement overall project operation and maintenance strategy that will ensure a
seamless hand over from contractor to operation at taking over the project
