Review project engineering to ensure the constructability and ease of installation of the design. Piping/Mechanical Coordinator • Petrobras Cottonwood Project (Gulf of Mexico): coordinate new mechanical, structural and piping additions to install a 350-ton production module, equipment skids and required piping on an existing fixed platform. Responsible for the planning and the execution of small platform shut-ins for the installation of piping tie-ins to the existing production and utility systems. Coordinated with the platform operation team to minimize platform downtime. Reviewed structural drawings to ensure it was feasible to install with the available manpower; made revisions. Review new piping isometrics and note field weld to ensure the piping would be installed with the fewest field welds as possible. Coordinate the installation of new equipment skids and the production module to ensure that they were installed in the correct location and were not damaged during the installation. Develop heavy lift plans for all lifts that were deemed non standard. Coordinate with shore base to ensure material was shipped to the platform as it was needed. Coordinate new scopes of work as they develop. Peak work-force: 35-man subcontract crew. Responsible for the quality control of work after completion, to ensure that it met the required specifications and the sign off of the certification documentation prior to hand over to commissioning. • BP Cupid: responsible for the research and creation of Workpacks and Jobcards for the repair work required to repair the Hurricane damaged platforms and return to normal production. Deepwater Specialist Inc. 2005 Mechanical Commissioning Lead, BP Atlantis: responsibilities involved the inspection and the testing of piping, equipment and the hand over of the systems to the operation team. AMEC Offshore, Inc. 2003 – 2005 Piping/Mechanical Supervisor • Britannia Satellite Brownfield Project: responsible for research and creation of Workpack and Jobcards for work done on the addition of a new platform and upgrades to the existing platform piping that were required for the integration of the new platform with the new piping tie-ins. • BP Mad Dog (Gulf of Mexico): Mechanical Lead, responsible for research of the required job scope to complete the offshore hook-up, including the creation of required Workpacks with the corresponding Jobcards. Responsible for the day-to-day direction of all hook-up work on the Mad Dog Spar, including engineering of new scopes of work as they developed. The work force peaked at an 80-man subcontract crew. Was responsible to ensure the work was completed as detailed on the Jobcards (Task Sheet), and that direct man- hours were recorded against the Jobcard numbers and that non-productive hours were recorded against the proper cost code. Once the work was completed, was responsible for the quality control of work to ensure that it met the required specifications and the sign off of the certification documentation prior to hand over to commissioning. Dynamic Industries 2002 – 2003 Supervisor • Shell MP69B Nakika Pig Receiver and Metering Loop Upgrade: supervised a 15-man construction crew overseeing the installation and modifications of piping and structure required for the installation of the pig launcher/receiving station • Stone Energy Platforms: superintendent over maintenance and upgrades. Verification and drawing of piping on plus the verification of flow sheets on existing piping for future upgrades. • Marathon SP89B: supervised construction of new equipment, piping and export compressor for Ocean Energy ZIA project. Verified Workpacks and commissioned systems on Ocean Energy ZIA project. Bay Offshore Field Engineer • BP VK989: construction and revision of structural and piping ISOs required for the MICA tie-back and module installation. • Shell Auger: verification of ISOs for construction to insure that there would be no need for field modifications to install new piping during scheduled shut in projects. • BP Marlin: construction and revision of structural piping ISOs required for the addition of the King tie-back.
