Role play rubrics
This rubric provides criteria for assessing student role-playing performances, including speech clarity and volume, consistency in portraying the role, appropriateness of arguments and viewpoints to the role, effective use of costumes and props, preparation and organization, and maintaining audience interest. Teachers can use this 6-point rating scale rubric to evaluate student role-plays along these dimensions and provide comments on additional criteria or the performance overall.
