Poster
By: Astrid
● This Poster is meant to promote the
colonization of the planet Mars.
● I used multiple sketches and concepts to make
the poster relevant and understandable.
● The symbol on the planet represent Mars.
● I used a palette of orange, red, black, and yellow
since they represent Mars`s colors.
● A trip to Mars word means making a colony on
the planet.
● The symbol on the planet is the astrological
symbol of Mars.
● Used various fonts to make the words readable.
●
Mars Poster.
Sketches.
By: Astrid
● I used the sketches to develop the concepts on
my posters. I searched on the internet for
inspirations for my poster.
● I researched Mars and decided that the planet
itself would be the center of the poster since
Mars is the one, Hestia want to colonize.
● Used Illustrator to create many versions of the
planet.
● Felt that gradient would work best for realism.
● Used some lines to determine to how the colors
in the work would work.
How I made it work.
Color Palette.
By: Astrid
● The color palette represent Mars`s colors
on the planet and atmosphere.
● On the planet, I added a gradient mix of
the palette to make the planet look
realistic.
● Also added some reddish-orange shadow
in the background to give it some Mars
feel.
The Palette.
