Scope of Site / Project Engineer is diverse but mainly responsible for the entire site management and
administrative functions services for the project. Responsibilities in detail:-
 Reporting to Project Director/Project Manager.
 Fully understand Contract Documents including conditions, specifications, Bills of Quantities and
drawings.

 In collaboration with the Engineering Department, prepare, revise and update work program and plans,
including quality plans.
 Supervision of works at site to achieve high quality of works as required by the consultant’s standard
and specifications.
 Feed back on quality systems for initiating corrective and preventive actions relating to both QA and
Safety procedures.
 Provide technical construction advice to client’s staff and management when required.
 Give the necessary job instructions and guidance to subordinates, supervising their work and gaining
their confidence, cooperation and support by all appropriate means.
 Communicate in writing with the Client/Consultant expressing ideas and contractual matters clearly and
concisely.
 Conduct field survey and investigate route cause analysis, to solve various problems and technical
issues.
 Carry out actions as agreed upon, following through job assignments until completion, maintaining
standards of quality and quantity.
 Design and implement project policies.
 Liaise with all other departments, via; Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Accounts, Human Resource,
Contracts, Information Technology, HSE, Store, Maintenance, Plant & Machinery etc.
 Organizing project meetings and work order management.
 Updating project's and subcontractor's payment status.
 Procurement of subcontractors and work order preparations as per their quotation.
