I then researched a magazine of my choice and analyzed a front cover Monday 14th September Today I started to consider who the target audience for magazine will be and why this is. Monday 21st September In todays lesson I started researching about the contents page. I commented on the connotations behind each of the main conventions of a contents page Monday 28th September In today’s lesson I started to look at suitable font styles for the

  masthead of mymagazine. I also started to complete my magazine flat plan where I researched what would be on what page of the magazine. Monday 5th October Today I completed a word document on my Photo-shoot Plan. Monday 12th October Today I created a survey monkey where people are able to give me feedback on magazine research Monday 19th October Today I started the layout for my preliminary task front cover. I used Photoshop to do this. Half Term Monday 2nd November I created a masthead and inserted a barcode on my preliminary front cover. I also used the text tool to write the issue number, the date and the cost of the magazine. Today I cropped out the background go my main image using the quick section tool and continued working on the front page of my magazine. I also added cover lines and smaller pictures to fill spaces and add detail. Monday 9th November In todays lesson I started to work on the contents page. I dragged elements from my front cover onto the contents page to keep brand identity. I am almost finished my contents page for my preliminary task. I have added all the text and pictures I want on the page so next lesson I just need to do finishing touches. Monday 16th November Today I finally finished my Preliminary contents page. I attempted to quick select the hair by watching an advanced hair selection video on YouTube. I found it very difficult. I created the masthead the strapline, the main image, the main heading and the pull quote. I used the colors

  from phoebes topas the font colors. Monday 23rd November Today i continued working on the front cover. I added cover lines, the barcode and the issue date. i edited the front cover to make it look more like my inspiration Billboard. I added the issue number and alined the coverlines so it looks more proffesional. Monday 7th December Today i started my editorial page. i inserted a picture of myself and created a shape in the background. i also used the pen tool to create a text box around the image. Monday 14th December I continued creating and editing my editorial page Monday 30th December In todays lesson i started drafting my interview questions fro the double page spread. I alsoinserted the picture to the double page spread. I also made a pull quote but have not yet edited the font or placed it correctly. Christmas Holidays
