- 5. Game : Play Taboo Rules: The object of the game is for a player to have his/her team guess the word on his/her card without using the word itself or three additional words listed on the card. So if the secret word is "kitten," you can't say "meow", "cat", "purr", if they were on the card. If you do, you'll be unceremoniously "buzzed" by your teacher. You've got 30 seconds to get your team to guess the word on the card. After 30 seconds, the opposing team gets to try and guess the word that you were trying to describe and steal your point. Continue alternating back and forth between teams until all the cards have been used.
