INTRODUCTION
“Education” and “library” are two inseparable-indivisible concepts,
both being fundamentally and synchronically related to and co-existent with each
other. One cannot be separated from the other, and the existence of one is an
impossibility without the other. Science education is the field concerned with
sharing science content and process with individuals not traditionally considered
part of the scientific community. Among all standards of education, the field of
science education plays a vital role due to the changing world scenarios. Science
education is the basic factor for modern world technological development.
Web resources are virtual files that are stored in the Microsoft
Dynamics CRM database and that you can retrieve by using a unique URL
address. The concept of a web resource has evolved during the web history, from
6
the early notion of static addressable documents or files, to a more generic and
abstract definition. Any students use libraries as the medium for assessing
information. So by organizing web resources for assessing information simply
directs us to digital libraries. A digital library is a collection of documents in
organized electronic form, available on the Internet or on CD-ROM (compact-disk
read-only memory) disks. Depending on the specific library, a user may be able to
access magazine articles, books, papers, images, sound files, and videos. So the
web resources have a large role for assessing information in science education.
SCIENCE LIBRARY
A well equipped science library under the charge of a
science teacher should be set up in the school. The science teacher can equip the
library depending on the availability of funds and accommodation facilities for the
purpose. The selection of books is difficult task and science teachers can solve it
by making use it by fairly exhaustive list of science books available from various
publishers. There are three important roles are there for library in education. In the
first place, libraries provide access to education by teaching information skills, by
providing leadership and expertise in the use of information and information
technologies, and by participating in networks that enhance access to resources
outside the school or community. Secondly, libraries help ensure equity in
education by: (1) helping children start school ready to learn; (2) addressing the
7
needs of student most at risk; (3) providing access to information and ideas
unimpeded by social, cultural, and economic constraints; (4) ensuring free and
equal access to information and ideas without geographic constraints; and (5)
helping students stay free of drugs and violence, in an environment conducive to
learning. A third role is that of impacting academic achievement for individuals
and assisting them in lifelong learning, preparing individuals for productive
employment, promoting the enjoyment of reading, promoting functional literacy
among adults.
Every education system such as a science education has practical
importance. Even though science subjects are relied on demonstrational manner,
the basics are always obtained from various books. So libraries are those which
provide a basement for all these studies. school library (or a school library media
center) is a library within a school where students, staff, and often, parents of
a public or private school have access to a variety of resources. The goal of the
school library media center is to ensure that all members of the school community
have equitable access "to books and reading, to information. The school library
exists to provide a range of learning opportunities for both large and small groups
as well as individuals with a focus on intellectual content, information literacy, and
the learner. In addition to classroom visits with collaborating teachers, the school
library also serves as a place for students to do independent work.

ORGANIZING WEB RESOURCES FOR ASSESSING INFORMATION
But in this modern era where internet is at every individuals finger tip,
learners may not be interested in spending more time in libraries where books
which they need to refer is to be found out from the large collection and do a
detailed look throughout the pages. Since the world is running in high speed, they
may feel inconvenience with that. Due to this, we introduced the concept of digital
library. In a digital library, we are used to organize web resources for assessing
information. A Digital Library is a special library with a focused collection of
digital objects that can include text, visual material, audio material, video material,
stored as electronic media formats (as opposed to print, microform, or other
9
media), along with means for organizing, storing, and retrieving the files and
media contained in the library collection. The electronic content may be stored
locally, or accessed remotely via computer networks. An electronic library is a
type of information retrieval system. In the past few years, procedures
for digitizing books at high speed and comparatively low cost have improved
considerably with the result that it is now possible to digitize millions of books per
year. Traditional libraries are limited by storage space; digital libraries have the
potential to store much more information, simply because digital information
requires very little physical space to contain it.[12] As such, the cost of maintaining
a digital library can be much lower than that of a traditional library. A physical
library must spend large sums of money paying for staff, book maintenance, rent,
and additional books. Digital libraries may reduce or, in some instances, do away
with these fees. Both types of library require cataloging input to allow users to
locate and retrieve material. Digital libraries may be more willing to adopt
innovations in technology providing users with improvements in electronic and
audio book technology as well as presenting new forms of communication such as
wikis and blogs; conventional libraries may consider that providing online access
to their catalog is sufficient. An important advantage to digital conversion is
increased accessibility to users. They also increase availability to individuals who
may not be traditional patrons of a library, due to geographic location or
organizational affiliation.
So organizing these web resources are the major part in digitization of
libraries. That means we want make available computers, high speed internet
connection, wi-fi hot spots, a proper user interfaces etc.

CONCLUSION
The concept of science library is an important factor in education system of
modern era. Science libraries have key role in improving learner’s interest and
attraction towards science knowledge. So existence of a science library is always
considered by every educational institutions. But in these days on this digitized
world, libraries are also on the path of digitization. This means that, we organize
11
web resources for assessing information. This will increase the quality and quantity
of information that is available on that library.
