This document discusses security and privacy issues of fog computing based on a survey of existing work. It then identifies several key security and privacy challenges of fog computing, including issues of trust and authentication, network security, secure data storage, and secure and private data computation. Several potential solutions are also briefly discussed, such as reputation-based trust models, biometric authentication, software-defined networking for security, and techniques like homomorphic encryption to enable verifiable and private computation on outsourced data.
