Role : ETL Test Analyst AirAsia, the best LCC in the world (6-Times Skytrax Award Winner), is growing significantly in a dynamic market and geographical condition. The Airline has innovative plans to enhance its customer experience and also to improve its operational efficiency. AirAsia requires greater insights about its customers and also need to measure profitability and performance of each ‘AoC’, ‘Flight’ and a ‘Seat’, in order to be enabled to make appropriate strategic decisions to remain competitive. OADM solution is being implemented to integrate enterprise data sources, in deriving meaningful insights from the data available. AirAsia has partnered with ECS Pericomp, ITC Infotech and Oracle to implement its “Enterprise Data Warehouse” (EDW) on Oracle technology platform. Oracle’s industry data model i.e. Oracle Airline Data Model (OADM) will be used as the core data model to implement this solution. Project: Migration - Target Client : Target-Major Retail Company in US. Skills/Tools : Datastage 8.5 , SQL developer, DB2 Duration : Jan 2011 to April 2015. Role : ETL Tester Target is 2nd largest American retailing Company headquartered in Minneapolis. The company was first found in 1902 where as India operations started in 2005 in Bangalore. We use ETL –based data warehouses uses staging and integration. Data stored in the warehouses are uploaded from operational systems –Marketing, Sales, shipment and etc., The Scope of the project is to migration all the Legacy applications belonging to Supply, Guest, Finance Corporation & Target.com running Datastage 7.5.2 to Datastage 8.5. The goal of this project is to define and manage: ♦ Datastage migration from version 7.5.2 to version 8.5 ♦ Unix Server upgraded from AIX 5.3 to AIX 6.1. ♦ Changing from File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to Managed File Transfer (MFT)
