Designed a smart distribution system in which a fault can be detected in the transmission line along with theft
detection of power by the use of smart meters. I implemented some IR frequencies in the divisions in order to get the
area of fault to approx distance.
Fault Distribution Isolation and Restoration
I did Comprehensive study on the topic and its related use in the grid along with associated practical experiments.
After going through numerous IEEE papers and many other materials for research work, I came up with a self
drafted detailed project report for it.
Elevator Control System
The study/project was based on implementing the model using software like MATLAB, etc. Some of the other
aspects of the project included working on the fuzzy logic, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Network. Technical
Improvement in the artificial intelligence of OTIS company elevator control system was my main area of
consideration.
Testing of Low Power and Linear CMOS Temperature Sensor:
Tested a MOSFET based IC as a temperature sensing element and checked whether it can operate in sub-threshold
region. I performed manual, exploratory and regression testing on the IC .The testing was also utilized to check
whether the IC is capable of measuring a temperature of 0°C to 120 °C. Functional tests and comprehensive AC and
DC measurements are made.
Testing of Low Power Fault Tolerant Reversible Decoder Using MOS Transistor:
I did a test on reversible logic synthesis for the n-to-2n decoder. Algorithm for designing the generalized decoder has
been presented (K-Algorithm: An Improved Booth’s Re-coding for Optimal Fault-Tolerant Reversible Multiplier).
DC Parametric Tests was performed on the chip.
