  When looking specificallyat my use of Photoshop and how the features have been positioned and edited in a certain way it is clear that my understanding and overall use of the programme has improved. When looking at the coverlines of the two magazines, they have been much more effectively used on the music magazines and look more realistic as they are in a more realistic looking font and the correct size. More tools have been used in the production of my music magazine in the correct way to make it look more appealing – I have overall followed codes and conventions of music magazines and adapted the Photoshop skills to do so. Font and images have been edited to look more realistic, as have the positioning statement and splash.

  Clearly shown inthese two contents page productions my use of different tools on Quark Xpress has dramatically improved in which I have adapted my knowledge to create a more appealing and realistic page. The use of images looks much neater and more organised on the music magazine due to the positioning of them being symmetrical and in line with one another. The text is used in a much better way containing more information but also having a clearer layout so they are easy to read. The fonts and editing used on the text creates a much more eye catching/inviting product as shown on the title of the page in which the text looks less boring and simple but is also very effective.
