Ms. Bank has significant experience in the dietary supplement and functional food industries and began her career as a natural products chemist with a research company (Hauser, Inc.) which focused on developing natural product extracts and purified plant compounds for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and food industries. She is considered an industry expert in antioxidant research and throughout her career has been researching and developing plant-based functional ingredients for a variety of nutritional supplement applications. The Science - MTHFR SNPActive™ • L-methylfolate – Circulating form of folate.     Ginny Bank Brief Bio GinnyBank is the Director of Product Education and Technical Support for GeneWize Life Sciences. Ms. Bank has significant experience in the dietary supplement and functional food industries and began her career as a natural products chemist with a research company (Hauser, Inc.) which focused on developing natural product extracts and purified plant compounds for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and food industries. She is considered an industry expert in antioxidant research and throughout her career has been researching and developing plant-based functional ingredients for a variety of nutritional supplement applications.     The Science -MTHFR SNPActive™ • L-methylfolate – Circulating form of folate. Synthetic folic acid or folic acid from green vegetables must be broken down in a series of metabolic steps in order to become L-methylfolate.
