Anna Lanoue is a psychology and dance major at Bates College who will graduate in May 2015 with a 3.8 GPA. She has conducted research on topics such as depressive realism and creativity, the effects of "bro culture" on sexual objectification, and the influence of weapon lethality on racial bias. Anna has interned at a research center studying psychiatric disorders and has assisted with juvenile justice cases. She also teaches dance and volunteers with mental health advocacy groups.
