  An introduction to Steven Butler This is Steven Butler As well as an author he is an actor, dancer and trained circus performer  As a child, he hated books and reading  It was growing up in his family home, and through playing tricks with his sister, that he discovered how brilliant and exciting books can be  Steven has written 7 books, 5 he has had published!

  The life of StevenButler Steven’s primary school head teacher was none other than the fantastically funny... Jeremy Strong! A rock and roll head teacher just like our very own Mr Shepherd! One of Steven’s favourite authors is Roald Dahl.  His favourite books and inspiration come from Roald Dahl’s ‘The Twits’ and ‘The BFG’  The first book Steven ever read was ‘Matilda’...it took him a whole year to read it!  The Twits

  Dennis the Menace This is Steven’sfirst Dennis the Menace book, it is already in the shops The next book in the series is due out in May, the third in August Each book is a diary of one whole term in school Steven has also written a series of books called ‘The Wrong Pong’ about trolls
