Success leaves clues…all you have to do is look for them.
Success principles are known…you just have to determine
which ones to use and in what order.
Foundational Principles
“Not much happens without a dream. And for something
great to happen, there must be a great dream. Behind every
great achievement is a dreamer of great dreams.”
~ Robert Greenleaf
“The most rewarding things you do in life are often ones that
look like they cannot be done.” ~ Arnold Palmer
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
~ Nelson Mandela
We look in the wrong place to see if something is possible. We
look into the past.
Commit to something you do not know how to do or that
you’ve never done.
“If your dream is not so big that it changes who you are, then it
is not big enough.”
To realize a dream, you must have a
dream to realize.
You can only go as far as your dream
takes you.
It’s only “impossible” until someone
does it.
Commit to do something you don’t
know how to do.
Your dream should scare you a
little…and excite you a lot!
“What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.”
~ Norman Vincent Peale
You were born to win, but to be a winner you must plan to
win, prepare to win, and expect to win.
~ Zig Ziglar
“We all specialize in self-fullfilling prophecy.”
~ Jason Jennings
It is the nature of a person to rise to greatness if greatness is
expected of him or her.
If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would
never think a negative thought.
If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you've lost.
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a person’s will:
It's all in their state of mind.
If you think you're outclassed, you are:
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You'll ever win that prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster woman/man,
But sooner or later the one who wins
Is the one who thinks she/he can.
The future belongs to those who believe
in the power of their dreams.
People rise the level of their
expectations.
Doubts kill more dreams that failure ever
will.
Success comes in “cans”….failure comes
in “can’ts”.
Your “I can” and your “I will” are more
important than your IQ.
Secret. . . Daily Agenda
Parkinson’s law states: “work expands so as to fill the time
available for it’s completion”, and nowhere is the principle
of expansion and consumption more true than in your daily
battles.
“This is so simple it sounds stupid, but it is amazing how few
people really understand that you only find oil if you drill
wells. You may think you’re finding it when you’re drawing
maps and studying logs, but you have to drill.”
1. Every morning, write a list of things that need to be done
that day.
2. Do them.
Before beginning a hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you
are looking for before you begin looking for it.
~ Pooh’s Little Instruction Book
How you use your time matters.
Know what winning looks like before you
start.
Intentions won’t get you anywhere….
actions will.
The key is not to prioritize what is on your
schedule, but to schedule your priorities.
Virtually every study of successful people
reveals that the acceptance of personal
responsibility was their starting point.
“Win or lose…Do it fairly.”
~ Knute Rockne
“It’s in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.”
~ Anthony Robbins
Every choice carries the individual responsibility of living with the
reward or the consequence.
“It is not what we profess but what we practice that gives us
integrity.”
“Be more concerned about your character than your
reputation, because your character is what you really are, while
your reputation is merely what others think you are.”
~ John Wooden
Every decision is a moment of truth.
Honesty/Trust matter.
Success is the prize for those who stand
true to their principles.
You can’t be right by doing wrong, and
you can’t be wrong by doing right.
Choose the consequence before you
choose the action.
Be Fun to be Around (Energizing)
If you’re not having fun on the journey, you’re probably not
going to enjoy the destination either.
It’s dangerous not to do what you love. The harsh truth is that if
you don’t love what you’re doing, you’ll lose to someone who
does
 Smile
 Laugh
 Play
 Sing
…they’re all choices. “Be” Happy!
Happiness is Contagious
Love what you do….chase your passion.
Happiness is not a result of anything….it’s
a choice.
Give yourself permission to lighten up
and enjoy life a little more.
Happiness is not something you
postpone for the future; it’s something
you design for the present.
Don’t wait…..be happy now.
Principles are simple. . .
• Dream Big
• Expect Success
• Work Smart
• Play Fair
• Have Fun
. . .But they’re not easy!
is nothing more than a
, practiced every day; while
is simply a ,
repeated every day. It is the cumulative
weight of our disciplines and our judgments
that leads us to either success or failure.
