As seen from the chart and table above, many people
chose my magazine name to be replay or tuned up but
I didn’t use them because I did not feel that they were
good enough for my music magazine. That’s why I
chose ‘Dope’ as it is more outstanding and has several
meanings.
As seen above, above 86% of people are willing to pay £1.99-
£2.99 for a music magazine so my magazine’s price will not go
above this range as I will be limiting my audience if I make it cost
higher.
As seen above, majority of people notice the main image
first in a magazine, that is why I ensured that I produced a
magazine with high quality images. In order to do this, I
planned my photography well making arrangements
someone to take pictures for me.
From the chart above, more than 60% of
people expect to see the music
life/personal life of the artist in the
magazine that is why I included an
interview with the artist ‘Female Weezy’
who featured in my magazine.
From the above chart, more than 80% of people wanted an
informal or casual(sexy) look that is why the artist in the
magazine looks/dressed sexy as this also represents the type of
music genre.
From the results above, more than 60% of people
do not read hip-hop magazines. This is a big
threat to ‘Dope’ magazine as it represents the hip
–hop culture. So I have done offers in the
magazine s this could encourage people to read.
More than 70% of people who read magazines are
females, so I have included new male artist in the
magazine as they could like this and also interview f the
main artist as she could be a role model to some of
them.
From the chart below, 60% of people like bright colour
scheme in a magazine that is why I have included bright
colours in my magazine such as, yellow, red and white.
From the chart, 40% of people think a powerful main image is
important on a magazine, followed by 27% of people who think
that exclusive main headlines are important. So I have put this
two into considerations and ensured that I made my headlines
outstanding and also have a powerful main image.
From the chart above, 60% of people are 17 or
younger and 27% are 16-20 meaning that my
target audience are young teens +. So I included
things or languages that will seem appealing and
fun to this audience.
