Survey Results

Here I have the results of my survey in which I will gather and study the results to make my football
magazine appealing and attractive to my target audience. From what you can see I asked six
questions that are important for my research so I can have a football magazine that will best suit my
audience.

From this question we can see that I asked about what colour scheme would best suit my magazine,
from the answer we can see by a big difference that everyone chose red. There are a lot of football
magazine that span in a variety of colours, the reason I chose this question is to simply narrow down
the ones that people prefer the most.
From this image we can see that I asked about what the public wanted done with their colours, to be
bright and vibrant or mute and simple. From the answers above we can see that they clearly wanted
bright and vibrant, which is very understandable due to the fact that people get attracted by bright
and vibrant coloured objects, not muted and simple colours.
Here I simply asked if they are aware of any famous female footballers. In the modern society, in
terms of football, the public don’t tend to pay attention to female footballers. My magazine is a
female football magazine, so if I gathered any answers that included famous female footballers I
could include them into my magazine.

If we look at existing football magazines we see that some are abstract looking in terms of text and
mastheads and some that are very simple but yet very easy to remember because they simply get
stuck in our minds. From the answers that I received we can see that we have a fair result, people
wanted a simple looking magazine and the other half wanted an abstract looking magazine. I will
research more football magazines to look at more text and masthead examples to gather my results.
Here I simply asked a straight forward question whether the audience wanted to see high quality
images within the football magazine, having high quality images makes the magazine look a lot more
professional.
Here I asked what football magazines they buy. Here I can look at the answers and look
more into that magazine and look at the way they style their text and layout. From the answers that
I have received we can see that ‘Match’ magazine had the most votes, I will certainly look at the
chosen magazine and look more into to it.
