- The majority of respondents were ages 14-21, allowing analysis of music video preferences within age ranges.
- Pop music was the most popular genre amongst 14-17 year olds, matching expectations. Some respondents surprisingly listened to foreign language music.
- Most respondents said their opinion of a song can change depending on the type and controversy of the accompanying music video.
- Many respondents watch at least one music video per week on YouTube, through VEVO channels. Some were surprised about others still watching videos on MTV.
