  How did youattract/address your audience?

  We attracted ouraudience by making this movie as gory and bloody as possible. By putting blood etc on the walls, we attract many horror junkies. The content of our story is also particularly scary, and this may attract the thrill seekers. (e.g. films like Saw and Hostel, and other films defined as torture porn)
• 3.
  We chose anattractive male lead to help to attract a female audience, as opposed to the male audience bringing their significant others/spouse to the film. We also put in a couple of good looking girls to draw in the male audience more, and maybe hook in a few people who don't normally watch horror films.
• 4.
  Also our productioncompany, Redrum productions, would attract a significant audience because Redrum, is murder spelt backwards, which is from the cult horror classic The Shining. Those who are familiar with the horror genre would be attracted by this.
• 5.
  Also, our antagonistmeets his victims over the internet, he finds out there personal information, then stalk them and then he kills them mutilates them. This may attract an audience from social networking sites, including facebook, twitter and myspace. This audience is the age range we would want to get in the cinema. (16-24 year olds)
