Assure Method
Analyzing the Learner
I will be teaching third graders. The class will consist
of 10 girls and 12 boys.
The students will come from many diversities;
Hispanic, Caucasian, and African American.
Five of my students will have a learning disability;
ADHD and Dyslexia.
State Objective
 A. The learner will be presenting their presentation in
class. Students will be participating by respectfully
listening to others and presenting themselves.
 B. The students will learn from other students while they
present their projects.
 C. The students can have a poster or dress up in a
Thanksgiving costume or bring an object to represent
Thanksgiving.

 D. I believe 95% of my students will complete this
assignment.
Selecting and Utilizing
Methods, Media, and
Materials
 Method: The students will be learning from other
students about the First Thanksgiving. The student
presentation is how they will be graded.
 Media: Students will be able to present by
PowerPoint, poster board, or any creative idea they
have.
 Materials: Students will present a food, clothing, or
gift the Indians and Pilgrims would have given
during their feast.
Revise Learner
Participation
 The students will be listening to other students.
 Some students my find it difficult to present. If they
do, they have the option of writing a paper instead
of presenting.
 Participation is key in getting a good grade for the
assignment.
Evaluate
 I would show the idea to other teachers.

 Give a presentation as an example for their project.

 I would go over the project again to make sure it is
easy to understand and easy to present.
