  Teen Titans Profile TeenTitans is an American TV show based on the DC Comics characters of the same name, that premiered on Cartoon Network and The WB Television Network in 2003. It is based primarily on the run of stories by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez in the early-1980s New Teen Titans comic book series. The show was created by Glen Murakami, developed by David Slack, and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It premiered on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2003 with the episode "Divide and Conquer" ("Final Exam" in some parts of Europe,) and the final episode "Things Change" aired on January 16, 2006, with the film Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo serving as the series finale. A comic book series, Teen Titans Go! (2003–2008), was based on the TV series. On June 8, 2012, it was announced that the series would be revived as a comedy series entitled Teen Titans Go!, which latter premiered on April 23, 2013. It currently airs reruns on Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang. The target audience are both genders at the age of 7 – 10 but the fanbase has now grown older to around 17-19 as well as the adults who read the comic books. The basis of Teen Titans is: In a major city, Robin the Boy Wonder leads his own team of superheroes, The Teen Titans. With his teammates, the dark Raven, the powerful Cyborg, the flighty alien princess Starfire and the flippant Beast Boy; the team battles the forces of evil where ever they appear like the enigmatic Slade, the diabolical Brother Blood or the malevolently cosmic Trigon.
