Why bother about winter?\" said the Grasshopper; we have got enough food at present.\" But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil.Finally, when winter came, the Grasshopper found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing corn and grain from their storage.Then the Grasshopper understood that…It is best to prepare for the days of necessity.<br /> LAZY GRASSHOPPER<br />right0A lazy grasshopper laughed at a little ant as she was always busy gathering food.\" why are you working so hard?\" he asked, \" come into the sunshine and listen to my merry notes.\" \" But the ant went on her work. She said\" I am lying in a store for the winter. Sunny days won't last for ever.\" \" Winter is so far away yet, \" laughed the grasshopper back. left0And when the winter came, the ant settled down in her snug house. So you had better dance the winter away.\" <br /> MORAL : Idleness is a curse.<br />A BAD CASE OF SNEEZES<br />Last night I had the sneezes.I was really very ill.My mother called the doctorwho prescribed a purple pill. <br />At eight o’clock I went to bed.My mom turned out the light.I used up one whole box of Kleenexsneezing through the night. <br />I sneezed my brains out in my bed.I didn’t get much rest.So that’s the reason, teacher,that I flunked the spelling test. <br /> SYMPATHY<br />If I were only a little puppy, not your baby, mother dear,would you say \" No\" to me if I tried to eat from your dish?<br />Would you drive me off, saying to me,\" Go away, you naughty little puppy\" ?<br />Then go, mother, go! I will never come to you when you call me and l never let you feed me any more.<br />If I were only a little green parrot, and not your baby, mother dear, would you keep me chained lest I should fly away?<br />Would you shake your finger at me and say,\" What an ungrateful wretch of a bird!It is gnawing at its chain day and night\" ?<br />Then go, mother, go! I will run away into the woods;I will never let you take me in your arms again.<br />
