ACT ONE:
Opening scene:
Non-Diegetic sound of a clock
[A young lady, who goes by the name of Eden Utopia, is crouched
down in the centre of an isolated road all alone, or so she thinks.
{The night breeze hisses as it whips past her face as the darkness
slowly consumes her.
The camera then pans into an extreme close up of Eden’s face where
the camera zooms into her eyes and into her flash back.
*Flashback*
In Eden’sflashback where we travel to a dystopian setting we can see
the gory images, which flicker in and out of the scene of, a bloodied
hand, a knife, a red balloon, missing posters, trees then darkness.
Non-Diegetic sound of the clock comes to an abrupt halt.
Unknown character: [whispers coldly] “Let the dark ages begin”
*End of flash back*
CUT
Act one:
In the opening of this scene we are introduced to a sunset, which is
used to indicate a new day.
The camera pans in from outside and into Eden’s room to show her
lying restlessly in her bed. [Tossing and turning]
The non-diegetic sound of her phone alarm interjects the silence and
wakes her up from her nap.

![After this she gets up and groggily walks to the bathroom where she
fixes her messed up make up.
As she is reapplying her [red] lipstick the red triggers a flash back.
*Flashback*
Red balloon, bloodied hands and knife
*End of flashback*
Out of shock Eden drops her lipstick and walks back into her room
where she picks up her phone.
*Text Message*
From unknown number
“Do you want to know what happened last night? –M”
Immediately Eden drops her phone on to her bed and sits down with
her head in her hands.
Slowly she looks up and into the mirror.
While looking into the mirror the lights switch off.
Eden scrambles for her phone and turns the torch on which she
shines into the mirror and to her horror she can see the words:
THE DARK AGE HAS BEGUN!
[END OF ACT ONE]
ACT TWO:
Out of fright Eden runs out of her room and down the stairs.
Once at the bottom of the stairs the camera pans around her quickly/
sharply in an arc shot.
Transitioningfrom this the shot becomes a point of view shot of Eden

![Continuing with this shot once the door is opened she runs outside
and the camera pans around to display her surroundings.
Eden looks around and there is no one there.
Out of the corner of her eye she see’s another red balloon and drops
her phone.
[Clattering sound]
This causes her heart to beat at a rapid rate
(Non-diegetic sound of a heartbeat)
The camera then pans down to her hands in which she sees blood
covering them. [Hands shake violently]
She closes her eyes and looks again and the blood is gone.
Her phone lights up in which she picks it up and looks at it.
On the screen she can see that she has received another text from the
unknown person which said,
“Have you received my first gift? –M
Eden clutches her phone out of frustration and paces backwards and
forwards from her door.
For the second time her phone lights up again with a phone call from
her house, which she answers?
Putting the phone shakily up to her ear her mum says,
“Don’t leave the house
Don’t leave the house
Don’t leave the house
I’ll explain everything.”
[Phone cuts off]
END OF ACT TWO
ACT THREE

![This shot then changes to an over the shoulder shot of the hooded
figure holding a red balloon walking behind her.
This shot then switches to a two’s shot of the hooded figure and Eden
walking.
Finally it will be a shot from the front where you can see Eden with
the hooded figure gaining on her.
Diegetic sound of the hooded figure whispering,
“Eden”
After this she begins to pick up her pace.
[Non diegetic sound of a, heartbeat and footsteps]
Eden then stops and turns around and no one is there.
When she begins to turn again the hooded figure is standing in front
of her.
Out of shock she falls back and lands on the concrete.
As she is down the hooded figure places the balloon in her hand and
she has a flashback.
In her flashback Eden can see a figure sitting huddled in a corner
crouched over.
Slowly the figure looks up and is revealed to be her mum.
Her mum says,
[Diegetic sound]
“Look what you’ve done to me, to -M, to your own mother…”
and to all of these people.
END OF ACT THREE

![At the beginning of this act there will be a sunset, which flickers in
and out of colour and end sup being darkness.
[Non diegetic sound of a broken ticking and toking]
The camera then shows a shot of Eden sitting back in her bed;
however she isn’t asleep this time.
She is sitting up in bed sweating breathing frantically.
While sitting up she can hear the voices of the people in her flashback
screaming.
[Banging on her windows screaming]
The camera dolly zooms into her hands, which are covered in blood
with a knife in them.
[Non-diegetic sound of toking]
The camera then pans up into an extreme close up of her eyes which
she opens.
[Creaking of door]
Figure walks in
Eden try’s to shuffle away but stops when the figure says
