Walt Disney World Magazine
 Walt Disney World was founded in 1923 on the 16th October
by the two brothers Roy O and Walt in Orlando.
 Originally Walt Disney was named “Walt Disney Studio” and
“Walt Disney Productions” until it was changed to “Walt
Disney Company” in 1986.
Walt Disney Background
 Walt Disney started with the two brothers Roy and Walt. They
appeared to be in a rented small office ($10 a month) in Los
Angles where they both produced a series of small short live-
animated/action films which were collectively known widely as
“Alice Comedies”
 There is also not a single owner of Walt Disney as it is shared
over a million owners. These include the president and chairmen
etc who have shares.
 One of Walt Disney’s first products was “Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs.”
 Walt Disney have grown over the years as more people have
grown up watching the movies and many more people are
visiting the parks,

 Walt Disney World Magazine produce a digital version and a
paper version of which you can choose from depending on
your likes.
 Walt Disney’s first issue was produced in the year 1965, there
was approximately 4 issues released per year (seasonally),
these were free for members of the magic kingdom. However,
only lasted until the year 2005.
Bauer Media background
 Bauer is Europe’s largest magazine publisher who publish
over 600 magazines worldwide. Yvonne Bauer has been the
leading member of the company since 2010.
 It all started in1875 with the first product being produced
which appeared as a business cards and appearing in local
newspapers in Hamburg. These were produced by the
original founder Ludolph Bauer.

 Bauer Media is also one of the largest cooperation’s with over
600 magazines and over 400 digital products and
downloadable news worldwide, there is also more than a
hundred radio/tv stations that millions worldwide enjoy to
watch and listen to.
Bauer Media’s growth
 Bauer Media has grown over the years through other
companies and branding. For example Bauer are known for
running classified ads for cars i.e. Audi which encourages
growth within the company and enables them to branch out to
higher media institutions to be able to build more.

 Bauer Media is a cooperation which includes numerous
magazine labels such as; Grazia, Bella, Garden News etc.
these are able to help the institution grow as it enables them
to reach a large audience of many different people therefore
they also make a profit when their magazines are bought
adding to their income and growth.
