Introduction
 In the time management project, I tracked my time
management over two days to infer how carefully I am
spending my time.

 4 quadrants are used to organize data

for important exams and
important homework

 Set time aside for myself to
clear my head and relax by
engaging in physical activity

 Overall managed time well

Weaknesses
 I wasted a small amount of
time due to interacting with
my friends. Also by watching
TV and or being on the
computer.

Strengths
 Spent the majority of my time
preparing for important
exams

 Set time aside for myself to
tasks such as laundry and
important homework

Weaknesses
 Was distracted by television
and being on the computer
surfing the internet which
then resulted in not
completing quadrant 2

 Spent at least 3 hours
shopping and exploring the
city

 Did not manage time
efficiently
Efficient Time Management
 In regards to the Rules for Effective Time
Management, I found that I followed many rules.
 Rule 13 : Set deadlines
 I set up certain times for a deadline to ensure that I have
completed the assignment. This helps me so I don’t have to
cram and doesn’t let me procrastinate.

 Rule 2 : Making a list of daily tasks
 Before starting everyday, I make a list of what needs to be
completed throughout the day. This will insure that I stay
organized.
Inefficient Time Management
 In regards to the Rules for Effective Time
Management, I found that I didn’t follow some of the
rules.
 Rule 16 : Reach closure on at least one thing every day
 One bad habit of mine is that I start many different projects
but never finish them. This leads to wasted time.

 Rule 11 : Do not Procrastinate
 This is a bad habit of mine and gets myself in situations that I
do not want to be in.
Conclusion
 What the time management has taught me:





To take advantage of higher priority tasks
Do not procrastinate
Stop spending time on not important tasks
Completing the work when it is originally assigned to get it
out of the way before the next assignment is due
