Honesty,TransparencyandAdaptability:
PillarsofLeadership
Christopher
Carter’s
he business world presents relentless competition.
THere, staying ahead requires more than speed—it
demands strategic deployment of the latest
technological advancements. Companies today are
leveraging cutting-edge tools like robots, intelligent
machines, and data analysis to optimize efficiency, enhance
products, and ultimately outpace rivals in the advancing
market landscape.
Within this thriving environment, one individual stands out
as a visionary leader driving innovation and growth in the
IT industry. With over 25 years of experience, Christopher
Carter embodies this ethos of technological advancement
and business acumen. His journey in the IT sector reflects
the relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to
leveraging technology for strategic advantage.
Positioned as the Chairman and CEO, Christopher is
dedicated to harnessing the power of data through AI and
chatbots and revolutionizing cloud computing services for
SAP customers worldwide. Notably, he has played a pivotal
role in shaping the technological realm by spearheading the
creation of the first SAP cloud and SAP HANA production
cloud.
Recognized as a top business winner, recipient of
prestigious awards such as the ACQ Award, and included in
the Inc. 500 and 5000 lists, Christopher’s expertise and
achievements in the IT field are incomparable. As a member
of the Forbes Coaches Council, he continues to contribute
insights and drive innovation in the industry.
At the core of Christopher’s leadership philosophy lies a
commitment to fostering a culture of excellence,
collaboration, and customer satisfaction. Through his
visionary leadership, Approyo continues to set new
standards in the IT industry, empowering businesses to
navigate the complexities of the digital age with confidence
and agility.
Fueling Passion
Christopher’s journey commenced in Wisconsin, where his
passion for computers ignited. “I always knew I enjoyed
working, playing, tinkering, and developing on computers,”
he reflects. From his humble beginnings with a Commodore
Vic 20, he progressed through an Atari, a Commodore 64,
and finally to an Apple. He states, “It was just something I
loved to do, play with, create, and grow, so it kept me
moving forward.”
Even during his college years, Christopher’s ardor for
computers remained firm. “My university allowed me to
expand my mind and not just be in a box of math and
everything else,” he recalls. Choosing courses that
resonated with his interests in computer technology, history,
and mathematics, he found his stride. “I truly excelled then,
creating my first company in college and now moving
forward with multiple companies I run and support daily
and weekly.”
Leadership Principles
“When it comes to leadership, my principles are clear,”
Christopher asserts. I will always be truthful and honest. I
will always tell you how I see it in front of you.” For
Christopher, honesty and transparency are non-negotiables
in his personal and professional interactions. “It’s the same
way I choose my children. It’s the same way I treat my
staff,” he emphasizes.
Top 10 Visionary Business Leaders Reshaping Their Industries Through Innovation in 2024
Acknowledging the multifaceted nature of leadership,
Christopher underscores the importance of adaptability.
“Sometimes you have to be blunt and to the point.
Sometimes, you must be loving and caring and pat
somebody on the back.” He believes in prioritizing the well-
being of his team, nurturing relationships with customers,
and fostering a genuine passion for the company’s mission.
“It’s about prioritizing your team, your customers, and the
love of your company,” he shares.
Innovate, Innovate, Innovate
“Innovation and development are at the core of our ethos,”
Christopher affirms. “I always have to put the pedal to the
metal and innovate, innovate, innovate.” With a firm belief
in leading by example, Christopher emphasizes fostering a
culture of innovation within his team.
“Our Overwatch tool is, in my opinion, the best SAP
landscape application monitoring tool developed,” he
asserts proudly. Leveraging AI-based technology, the tool is
a testament to their commitment to providing top-notch
solutions for their customers. “Every single one of our
customer’s landscapes has this tool attached to it to monitor
their solution,” Christopher explains, highlighting its
widespread adoption and utility.
Moreover, Christopher stresses their continuous
commitment to improvement. “We are constantly evolving,
updating, and creating new tool components to make it
better and stronger for everyone,” he states.
Epicenter Exploration
Motivated by a bottle of Scotch and a perfect friend,
Christopher embarked on a journey of discovery. “I learned
much more about what was happening with SAP, the in-
memory database, and the organization’s direction,” he
reflects. Taking a break, he immersed himself in the startup
world before venturing to Germany and Palo Alto, CA, the
two epicenters of SAP.
“In about 30 days, I got inundated with what was
happening with in-memory data and the go-forward
strategy for SAP,” Christopher recalls. This deep dive led to
a significant milestone: “We became the 1st of 20 startup
focus program partners.” Christopher’s confidence in their
future is firm: “I firmly believe that with our AI cloud
solutions Overwatch and our incredibly talented team, we
will be able to support the SAP ecosystem for years and
years to come.”
For Christopher, honesty
and transparency are
non-negotiables in his personal
and professional interactions.
Making a Difference
“We have this as a mantra: we want to culture and foster
excellence in our team,” Christopher emphasizes. His
approach to staffing is global, seeking out the ‘best and
brightest staff members from around the world.’ This
inclusive strategy extends outside the borders, with team
members hailing from the United Kingdom, Brazil, India,
Spain, and the United States.
“For me, it’s about quality,” Christopher states firmly. He
prioritizes individuals who understand that ‘the customer
comes first’ and possess the ability to collaborate effectively
across geographical boundaries. Ultimately, Christopher’s
goal is simple—to make a difference in our organization
and with our customers.
Leading with Conviction
“First and foremost, we’re the best,” Christopher asserts
confidently. “I feel in my heart that we provide the best
team to sell you your SAP licenses—we have the best team
to implement your strategy on a cloud within rise and the
solution of the future with AI-based technologies.” His
belief in his team's prowess extends to their ability to
manage, monitor, and support the organization for the
future and, most importantly, the organization as it goes
forward.
Christopher’s conviction in the team’s excellence stems
from firsthand experience. “I know our team is
incredible—I see it daily,” he affirms. Working closely with
them, he witnesses their dedication and prowess in action.
“I genuinely want them to help our customers succeed,” he
adds. This commitment to excellence is not
unfounded—Christopher is keenly aware of the
competition. “I hear the backstabbing, rumors, and
innuendos about them and their capabilities,” he
acknowledges. “So yes, we are the best.”
Addressing Setbacks
“Every company has setbacks, challenges, and problems
that arise daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly,” Christopher
acknowledges. As a leader, he emphasizes the importance
of taking charge and addressing these issues head-on. “You
need to look at the problem,” he advises. “Is it a NOW
problem, an ongoing problem, or a problem that will rectify
itself in the end?”
Christopher advocates for a tailored approach to each
challenge. “It would be best to address all challenges and
setbacks individually for what they are and how they are,”
he suggests. Rather than assuming one size fits all, he
encourages leaders to understand the nuances of each
situation and find suitable solutions.
Full Throttle Leadership
Christopher has a straightforward yet powerful message
regarding aspiring business leaders in the IT industry or
entrepreneurship. He shares, “Just put the foot to the pedal,
put that pedal to the floor, and go as hard as you possibly
can as fast as possible.”
Drawing inspiration from a racing metaphor, Christopher
encourages a relentless pursuit of goals. “As that race car
driver said, my foot’s not coming off the gas until I hit the
checkered flag, or I’ll see God!” he exclaims.
Embracing a fearless attitude, Christopher urges aspiring
leaders to ‘go for it, go for it.’ He advocates for resilience,
emphasizing embracing failure as a stepping stone to
success. “Fail fast. If you’re going to fail, get on to the next
one, keep moving forward, never stop, never slow down,
keep moving.”
Building Robust Defenses
“The most significant opportunities are genuinely in the
artificial intelligence and cybersecurity realms,”
Christopher affirms. “With everyone going to the cloud,
these tools are going to be continuously monitoring,
changing, and updating the way that we do business
cybersecurity, and the evil players out in the market are
going to be there constantly, so we always have to make
sure that we are moving them forward and sniping them in
the butt.”
Christopher’s enthusiasm for AI's potential is evident. “And
the AI will continue to grow,” he predicts. Look at our tool,
Overwatch. It is continuously being updated, adding new
entities to make it bigger, better, and more robust.” Drawing
a comparison, he likens the evolution of their tool to the
iconic $6 million man.
I rmly believe that with our AI
cloud solutions Overwatch
and our incredibly talented
team, we will be able to
support the SAP ecosystem
for years and years to come.
“We have the tools. We can fix it, create it, grow it,” he
states confidently.
Lessons Learned
“This is a horrible question because I fail at balancing my
personal and professional life tremendously,” Christopher
admits candidly. Despite his dedication to his professional
responsibilities, he acknowledges the challenges of
balancing them with his commitments. “I have been
married for 25 years this year and am very fortunate,” he
reflects. “I have two incredible daughters that my wife
raised.”
Christopher acknowledges being a ‘part-time father at best’
due to his focus on the company and career growth. While
he has tried to be present for important moments, he regrets
missed opportunities. “If I could do things over again, I
may change them,” he muses. “I may not, but one of the
things I would do is spend more time with my daughters.”
Despite his shortcomings, Christopher recognizes the
importance of family. “At the end of the day,
we are a family,” he emphasizes. “I am who I am as an
executive because of the positive and adverse effects that
have come through my life.”
Legacy in the Making
“I want to leave my legacy shortly, retire, and spend more
quality time with my daughters and family with some of my
other passions in life,” Christopher shares. However, his
genuine aspiration as a leader in the IT field is clear—to
leave the fact that we were able to create the first SAP cloud
that we were able to help companies grow and succeed and
truly make a difference in the SAP ecosystem.
Christopher’s dedication to this goal is untiring. “We’ve
been doing that every day,” he emphasizes. “Some people
see it, some people don’t, but in my mind, I see and know
that we have made a difference to these organizations
worldwide.”

Leadership in the Digital Age
From artificial intelligence and
machine learning to blockchain and
the Internet of Things (IoT),
emerging technologies are reshaping
industries, disrupting traditional business
models, and challenging conventional
notions of leadership.
In the face of these rapid technological
changes, leadership in the digital age
requires a proactive approach to adaptation
and innovation. Leaders must be willing to
embrace new technologies, experiment with
emerging trends, and continuously evolve
their strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
Moreover, leaders must foster a culture of
collaboration and knowledge-sharing,
empowering employees to embrace change,
adapt to new technologies, and drive
innovation from within.
This article delves into the multifaceted
impact of technology on leadership in the
digital age, exploring how forward-thinking
leaders are adapting to and leveraging
these changes to drive innovation, foster
collaboration, and navigate the
complexities of a hyper-connected world.
The Technological Revolution
The advent of digital technology has
heralded a new era of unprecedented
change and opportunity. From the
proliferation of smartphones and social
media to the rise of cloud computing and
big data analytics, the digital revolution has
fundamentally altered the way we live,
work, and interact with one another. Today,
technology permeates every facet of our
lives, driving innovation, accelerating the
pace of change, and creating both immense
possibilities and daunting challenges.
Impact on Leadership

change requires continuous skill development and
adaptation, forward-thinking leaders encourage employees
to pursue ongoing education and professional development
opportunities.
By fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and
continuous learning, leaders empower employees to stay
abreast of emerging trends and acquire new skills that are
essential for success in the digital age. Whether through
formal training programs, mentorship initiatives, or self-
directed learning resources, organizations that prioritize
lifelong learning create an environment where employees
feel supported and encouraged to grow and evolve
alongside evolving technologies and industry trends.
Upholding Fundamental Values of Fairness
As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented
pace, leaders must also grapple with the ethical and social
implications of their actions. From privacy concerns and
data security risks to algorithmic bias and the impact of
automation on jobs, the rapid pace of technological change
raises complex ethical dilemmas that require thoughtful
consideration and responsible leadership. Leaders must
prioritize ethical decision-making, transparency, and
accountability to ensure that technology is used in a way
that benefits society as a whole and upholds fundamental
values of fairness, equality, and justice.
Conclusion
As we stand on the cusp of a new technological frontier, the
role of leadership has never been more critical or complex.
In the digital age, leaders must embrace change, harness the
power of technology, and cultivate a culture of innovation
to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and competitive
world. By leveraging data for informed decision-making,
fostering collaboration and connectivity, embracing
innovation and disruption, and navigating ethical and social
implications responsibly, leaders can chart a course toward
a more prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive future for all.
the digital age. Leaders are no longer just managers of
people and resources; they are visionaries, innovators, and
catalysts for change. The digital realm requires leaders to be
agile, adaptive, and forward-thinking, capable of navigating
uncertainty and driving transformation in the face of
constant disruption.
Leveraging Data for Informed Decision-Making
One of the most significant ways technology is changing
the game for leadership is through the proliferation of data
and analytics. With the advent of big data and advanced
analytics tools, leaders now have access to unprecedented
amounts of information that can inform strategic decision-
making, drive operational efficiency, and unlock new
opportunities for growth. By harnessing the power of data,
leaders can gain valuable insights into customer
preferences, market trends, and competitive dynamics,
enabling them to make more informed and data-driven
decisions.
Fostering Collaboration and Connectivity
Technology has also revolutionized the way teams
collaborate and communicate in the digital age. With the
rise of digital collaboration tools, remote work platforms,
and virtual meeting technologies, leaders can now connect
and collaborate with team members across geographic
boundaries and time zones seamlessly. This level of
connectivity has transformed the traditional notions of
teamwork and enabled organizations to tap into diverse
talent pools, foster innovation, and drive collective impact.
Embracing Innovation and Disruption
Innovation has become a hallmark of successful leadership
in the digital age. With technology driving constant
disruption across industries, leaders must embrace a culture
of innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of the
curve. By encouraging creativity, risk-taking, and a
willingness to challenge the status quo, leaders can foster a
culture of innovation that drives continuous improvement
and enables organizations to adapt and thrive in an ever-
changing world.
Fostering a Culture of Lifelong Learning
In addition to embracing innovation and leveraging
technology, effective leaders in the digital age prioritize the
cultivation of a culture of lifelong learning within their
organizations. Recognizing that the pace of technological

a platform for spreading ideas that work.
The future of business is unwritten, but one thing remains
constant: the need for effective leadership. In today's rapidly
evolving business landscape, effective leadership is more
critical than ever for driving success and staying ahead of the curve.
As we navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world,
traditional leadership styles are being challenged.
As organizations navigate through unprecedented challenges and
opportunities, the leadership styles that have proven effective in the
past may no longer suffice. To thrive in the "new next," leaders must
embrace innovative approaches that inspire and empower their
teams while fostering agility, resilience, and adaptability.
Here, we explore emerging trends and unpack effective leadership
styles that will shape a better business future.
The Evolving Landscape
The business landscape is undergoing a metamorphosis.
Technological disruption, globalization, and a focus on social
responsibility are just some of the forces reshaping the way we
work. Millennials and Gen Z are entering the workforce, bringing
new values and expectations for leadership. To thrive in this "New
Next," leaders must adapt their styles to foster innovation, agility,
and a purpose-driven culture.
Transformational Leadership: The Visionary Architect
Transformational leaders inspire and motivate their teams to achieve
their full potential and pursue ambitious goals. They articulate a
compelling vision for the future and empower their employees to
contribute creatively towards its realization. By fostering a culture
of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement,
transformational leaders drive organizational change and fuel
growth in dynamic and competitive markets.
Effective leaders don't just react to change; they anticipate it.
Visionary architects paint a compelling picture of the future,

inspiring and motivating teams to pursue ambitious goals.
They are strategic thinkers who can translate long-term
vision into actionable plans, navigating uncertainty with
clarity and purpose.
Servant Leadership: The Collaborative Catalyst
Gone are the days of the all-knowing, top-down leader. The
future demands collaborative leadership. These leaders
empower their teams, fostering open communication and
encouraging diverse perspectives. They act as catalysts,
igniting creativity and innovation by providing the
resources and freedom for teams to flourish.
These servant leaders prioritize the needs and well-being of
their team members above their own. They lead by
example, demonstrating humility, empathy, and a
commitment to serving others. By listening attentively,
supporting their employees' growth and development, and
removing barriers to success, servant leaders cultivate a
culture of trust, respect, and mutual support. This approach
fosters high levels of employee engagement, loyalty, and
satisfaction, leading to improved performance and
organizational outcomes.
Collaborative leaders further recognize that success in
today's interconnected world requires cooperation and
teamwork across organizational boundaries. They actively
seek out opportunities to collaborate with internal and
external stakeholders, leveraging diverse perspectives and
expertise to drive innovation and achieve shared goals. By
fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and
mutual respect, collaborative leaders build strong networks
and partnerships that enhance organizational resilience and
competitiveness.
Adaptive Leadership: The Agile Navigator
Adaptive leaders thrive in complex and uncertain
environments by embracing flexibility, agility, and
resilience. They are able to quickly assess and respond to
changing circumstances, navigate ambiguity, and seize
opportunities for innovation and growth. By encouraging
experimentation, learning from failure, and promoting a
growth mindset, adaptive leaders empower their teams to
adapt and thrive in rapidly changing business landscapes.
The business environment is no longer a predictable
journey. Leaders in the New Next must be agile navigators.
They are adaptable, able to course-correct and embrace
change as situations evolve. They are decisive yet open to
feedback, making data-driven decisions while remaining
flexible enough to adjust strategies when necessary.
Authentic Leadership: The Empathy-driven Leader
Authentic leaders lead with integrity, transparency, and
authenticity. They stay true to their values and principles,
and they communicate openly and honestly with their team
members. By building trust and credibility through their
actions and words, authentic leaders create a supportive and
inclusive work environment where employees feel valued,
respected, and empowered to contribute their best. This
fosters strong relationships, enhances collaboration, and
drives performance and results.
Intelligent Leadership: The Champion of Purpose
Today's workforce seeks meaning in their work. Effective
leaders are champions of purpose. They articulate a clear
company mission and social responsibility goals, going
beyond just profit. This sense of purpose inspires and
motivates employees, creating a more meaningful work
experience.
Further, in today's hyper-connected world, success isn't a
solo act. Savvy leaders understand this. They're
collaboration ninjas, actively seeking out partnerships that
shatter organizational silos. These leaders value the power
of diverse perspectives. They break down walls, both
internal and external, to ignite a collaborative firestorm of
ideas and expertise.
The result? Innovation on steroids. Shared goals become
achievable summits, scaled through the collective strength
of a network. Collaborative leaders cultivate a culture of
open communication, knowledge-sharing, and mutual
respect. This fertile ground breeds powerful partnerships
that bolster organizational resilience and propel
competitiveness to new heights.
Leading the Way to a Better Future
By embracing these emerging leadership styles, businesses
can create a thriving and resilient future. Leaders who are
collaborative catalysts, visionary architects, agile
navigators, empathy-driven, and champions of purpose will
be the ones shaping a better business tomorrow. The New
Next demands a new kind of leader, and those who rise to
the challenge will not only guide their organizations to
success but also contribute to a more positive and
sustainable future for all.

From his humble beginnings with a Commodore Vic 20, he progressed through an Atari, a Commodore 64, and finally to an Apple. He states, “It was just something I loved to do, play with, create, and grow, so it kept me moving forward.” Even during his college years, Christopher’s ardor for computers remained firm. “My university allowed me to expand my mind and not just be in a box of math and everything else,” he recalls. Choosing courses that resonated with his interests in computer technology, history, and mathematics, he found his stride. “I truly excelled then, creating my first company in college and now moving forward with multiple companies I run and support daily and weekly.” Leadership Principles “When it comes to leadership, my principles are clear,” Christopher asserts. I will always be truthful and honest. I will always tell you how I see it in front of you.” For Christopher, honesty and transparency are non-negotiables in his personal and professional interactions. “It’s the same way I choose my children. It’s the same way I treat my staff,” he emphasizes. Top 10 Visionary Business Leaders Reshaping Their Industries Through Innovation in 2024

Acknowledging the multifacetednature of leadership, Christopher underscores the importance of adaptability. “Sometimes you have to be blunt and to the point. Sometimes, you must be loving and caring and pat somebody on the back.” He believes in prioritizing the well- being of his team, nurturing relationships with customers, and fostering a genuine passion for the company’s mission. “It’s about prioritizing your team, your customers, and the love of your company,” he shares. Innovate, Innovate, Innovate “Innovation and development are at the core of our ethos,” Christopher affirms. “I always have to put the pedal to the metal and innovate, innovate, innovate.” With a firm belief in leading by example, Christopher emphasizes fostering a culture of innovation within his team. “Our Overwatch tool is, in my opinion, the best SAP landscape application monitoring tool developed,” he asserts proudly. Leveraging AI-based technology, the tool is a testament to their commitment to providing top-notch solutions for their customers. “Every single one of our customer’s landscapes has this tool attached to it to monitor their solution,” Christopher explains, highlighting its widespread adoption and utility. Moreover, Christopher stresses their continuous commitment to improvement. “We are constantly evolving, updating, and creating new tool components to make it better and stronger for everyone,” he states. Epicenter Exploration Motivated by a bottle of Scotch and a perfect friend, Christopher embarked on a journey of discovery. “I learned much more about what was happening with SAP, the in- memory database, and the organization’s direction,” he reflects. Taking a break, he immersed himself in the startup world before venturing to Germany and Palo Alto, CA, the two epicenters of SAP. “In about 30 days, I got inundated with what was happening with in-memory data and the go-forward strategy for SAP,” Christopher recalls. This deep dive led to a significant milestone: “We became the 1st of 20 startup focus program partners.” Christopher’s confidence in their future is firm: “I firmly believe that with our AI cloud solutions Overwatch and our incredibly talented team, we will be able to support the SAP ecosystem for years and years to come.” For Christopher, honesty and transparency are non-negotiables in his personal and professional interactions.

Making a Difference “Wehave this as a mantra: we want to culture and foster excellence in our team,” Christopher emphasizes. His approach to staffing is global, seeking out the ‘best and brightest staff members from around the world.’ This inclusive strategy extends outside the borders, with team members hailing from the United Kingdom, Brazil, India, Spain, and the United States. “For me, it’s about quality,” Christopher states firmly. He prioritizes individuals who understand that ‘the customer comes first’ and possess the ability to collaborate effectively across geographical boundaries. Ultimately, Christopher’s goal is simple—to make a difference in our organization and with our customers. Leading with Conviction “First and foremost, we’re the best,” Christopher asserts confidently. “I feel in my heart that we provide the best team to sell you your SAP licenses—we have the best team to implement your strategy on a cloud within rise and the solution of the future with AI-based technologies.” His belief in his team's prowess extends to their ability to manage, monitor, and support the organization for the future and, most importantly, the organization as it goes forward. Christopher’s conviction in the team’s excellence stems from firsthand experience. “I know our team is incredible—I see it daily,” he affirms. Working closely with them, he witnesses their dedication and prowess in action. “I genuinely want them to help our customers succeed,” he adds. This commitment to excellence is not unfounded—Christopher is keenly aware of the competition. “I hear the backstabbing, rumors, and innuendos about them and their capabilities,” he acknowledges. “So yes, we are the best.” Addressing Setbacks “Every company has setbacks, challenges, and problems that arise daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly,” Christopher

acknowledges. As aleader, he emphasizes the importance of taking charge and addressing these issues head-on. “You need to look at the problem,” he advises. “Is it a NOW problem, an ongoing problem, or a problem that will rectify itself in the end?” Christopher advocates for a tailored approach to each challenge. “It would be best to address all challenges and setbacks individually for what they are and how they are,” he suggests. Rather than assuming one size fits all, he encourages leaders to understand the nuances of each situation and find suitable solutions. Full Throttle Leadership Christopher has a straightforward yet powerful message regarding aspiring business leaders in the IT industry or entrepreneurship. He shares, “Just put the foot to the pedal, put that pedal to the floor, and go as hard as you possibly can as fast as possible.” Drawing inspiration from a racing metaphor, Christopher encourages a relentless pursuit of goals. “As that race car driver said, my foot’s not coming off the gas until I hit the checkered flag, or I’ll see God!” he exclaims. Embracing a fearless attitude, Christopher urges aspiring leaders to ‘go for it, go for it.’ He advocates for resilience, emphasizing embracing failure as a stepping stone to success. “Fail fast. If you’re going to fail, get on to the next one, keep moving forward, never stop, never slow down, keep moving.” Building Robust Defenses “The most significant opportunities are genuinely in the artificial intelligence and cybersecurity realms,” Christopher affirms. “With everyone going to the cloud, these tools are going to be continuously monitoring, changing, and updating the way that we do business cybersecurity, and the evil players out in the market are going to be there constantly, so we always have to make sure that we are moving them forward and sniping them in the butt.” Christopher’s enthusiasm for AI's potential is evident. “And the AI will continue to grow,” he predicts. Look at our tool, Overwatch. It is continuously being updated, adding new entities to make it bigger, better, and more robust.” Drawing a comparison, he likens the evolution of their tool to the iconic $6 million man. I rmly believe that with our AI cloud solutions Overwatch and our incredibly talented team, we will be able to support the SAP ecosystem for years and years to come.

“We have thetools. We can fix it, create it, grow it,” he states confidently. Lessons Learned “This is a horrible question because I fail at balancing my personal and professional life tremendously,” Christopher admits candidly. Despite his dedication to his professional responsibilities, he acknowledges the challenges of balancing them with his commitments. “I have been married for 25 years this year and am very fortunate,” he reflects. “I have two incredible daughters that my wife raised.” Christopher acknowledges being a ‘part-time father at best’ due to his focus on the company and career growth. While he has tried to be present for important moments, he regrets missed opportunities. “If I could do things over again, I may change them,” he muses. “I may not, but one of the things I would do is spend more time with my daughters.” Despite his shortcomings, Christopher recognizes the importance of family. “At the end of the day, we are a family,” he emphasizes. “I am who I am as an executive because of the positive and adverse effects that have come through my life.” Legacy in the Making “I want to leave my legacy shortly, retire, and spend more quality time with my daughters and family with some of my other passions in life,” Christopher shares. However, his genuine aspiration as a leader in the IT field is clear—to leave the fact that we were able to create the first SAP cloud that we were able to help companies grow and succeed and truly make a difference in the SAP ecosystem. Christopher’s dedication to this goal is untiring. “We’ve been doing that every day,” he emphasizes. “Some people see it, some people don’t, but in my mind, I see and know that we have made a difference to these organizations worldwide.” S
