  Excursion What did theydo? The last 18th of October, the students of 3rd and 4th grade of ESO went to Can Miret, Lliçà. They went there to meet students and know better their older and younger classmates. They also make a barbecue in groups to improve their organization and cooking abilities. All of them participated in a competition to see who had the best food, the best furniture for their tables and what group was the winner of the game made by teachers and some students. First of all, the students had a very long walk in the country. They had to answer different questions about the sights and the place where they were. After that, they arrived to the barbecue and started the activities. The groups were together and they enjoyed that time, meeting each other. When the activities had finished, they organized the food’s groups and made fire. They cooked the meal and they ate it. After that, they had free time to take photos, play with friends, talk, and also to enjoy their time all together.

  Interview 3th gradeof ESO 1. What do you prefer to make the groups in your own or that teachers make them? I think it’s good idea that teachers make the groups because it’s easier to meet other people. 2. Did you like the organization of the excursion? On the one hand, I liked it because we did a lot of different things, but on the other hand, I would prefer more free time. 3. Do you think that it’s a good idea to meet your older classmates? Yes, because the activities were funny and you could enjoy it with people that you haven’t known yet. 4. Did you like the place? Not at all because we would like somewhere where we could have more freedom and be separated from teachers. 5. Would you change something about the excursion? I would change the place and some activities like those that you had to think a lot because it was difficult for my group. 6. What would you improve in your barbecue’s group for the next year? I think that for the next year we could bring more food because this year we haven’t had enough for the entire group.

On the one hand, I prefer to make the groups on my own, because it’s an activity to enjoy the time with your friends, but on the other hand, I think it’s a good idea to make the groups with teacher’s help because you can meet more people. 2. Did you like the organization of the excursion? Yes, it was not good. 3. Do you think that it’s a good idea to meet your younger classmates? Yes, but I think that in an excursion you have to have fun and we could do another activities to meet our older classmates in the school. 4. Did you like the place or did you prefer last year’s place? I enjoyed the two places, but last year, in Lliçà, the place to eat was more comfortable. 5. Would you change something about the excursion? Maybe I would change some activities and the long walk. 6. What would you improve in your barbecue’s group? I wouldn’t change anything because we had a very good organization.

  Christmas in CervetóSchool: 3rd grade of ESO The last school day, before the Christmas holidays, the students of 3rd of ESO made some activities to enjoy that day with their classmates. First of all, in the morning they went to an old people’s residence to play some games with them, like cards and domino. They sang different Christmas carols and, finally, they gave them some presents. After that, the students came back to the school to write wishes and put them into some sacks. We are sure that these wishes are going to become real. In the afternoon, they organized a disco in the class, with special lights and amazing music! With the disco they brought food and ate it while they were dancing. Then, they sang songs with sing star and, as you can imagine, they enjoyed their last school day a lot. 4TH grade of ESO The pupils of 4TH grade of ESO did special activities for the youngest children of the school. To make them, they had to make groups to do different and funny activities about the Christmas. Some of them were chair game with Christmas carols songs, crafts activities, etc. The children were very pleased to be the pupils of the teenagers at that time. All this activities lasted during four hours. After that, the 4TH grade of ESO students went to El Tub, a Sports pavilion in Granollers. They did a gymkhana. The classes did some activities like a human row in three, mime, do triples into a basket, etc. In the afternoon they decided to watch a funny film. The film that was chosen was ALI G. The students of 4th grade of ESO have read very interesting book, Vicente y el misetrio del escritor informal. Sara Sánchez Buendía wrote it and she visited the students. They made some special presents for her. First of all, they wrote different endings for the book, and the best finals were read in front of her. Another present was an original front page for the book with spectacular drawings. The students drew the main characters in a mural. They gave her those presents when she came here to visit the students and she was very surprised, happy and really excited because it was the first time that she met her readers. We wish she continues writing because the students enjoyed her book a lot and it was the finalist to win a literature price! It was her first book, so we are sure that if she continues writing, she’s going to win a lot of prices and she’s going to have a lot of young and old readers.

Pa negre; Emili Teixidor BOOK RECOMENDATION This month, our recommendation is the book written by Sara Sánchez Buendía, called Vicente y el misterio del escritor informal, which shows us a story about a girl and her friend who live different adventures about a corrupted writer. It’s a very interesting book, because it talks about different topics (love, adventures, mystery,…). It will make you enjoy the reading and your free time. FILM RECOMENDATION If you haven’t seen Avatar, you must watch it. It’s an incredible film, which is the most seen in the cinematographic history. You will enjoy this film because it has fantasy, adventures, love, wars and a lot of topics, so it is enjoyable for all kind of publics. It’s about a marine soldier, whose brother has died, called Jake Sully. He works in the RDA Corporation. This company is mining a valuable mineral explotation called unobtanium in Pandora, a planet which its atmosphere is poisonous to humans. To travel to this planet the scientists use Na’vi-human hybrid bodies called avatars. Jake Sully will pass lots of adventures in this strange planet as an avatar. During this time, he will discover and fall in love with his avatar’s girlfriend and the entire wildlife planet. Finally Jake Sully will live all his life as an avatar because he loves this kind of life.

  LIP DUB This course,as very year, our school made a spectacular Lip Dub. It’s a video that shows how wonderful Cerveto School is, our location, classes and instalations. It was made by 1st grade of highshool’s students. They spend 2 months preparing and organizing it. The students enjoyed it all. They all participated on organizing or dancing while it was being recorded and they are very happy with their results. You must see it and we attach it at the bottom of the article. They chose the song “Dinamit” realised by Taio Cruz. They chose it because it is very actual and makes you feel happy.
