This document discusses the causes and treatment of tooth ankylosis, particularly focusing on a case involving a 23-year-old female with an ankylosed maxillary central incisor resulting from trauma. The proposed treatment, utilizing single-tooth distraction osteogenesis, was aimed at repositioning the tooth to correct aesthetic and functional discrepancies due to its infraocclusion.
