Stuart Preston created a 3D model of a robot sidekick for his BTec Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production Games Design unit over three weeks. He started by finishing the basic shape and complex pieces. The next week, he focused on completing the "railguns" weaponry and adding detail to the rest of the drone. By the third week, Stuart had completed the model including adding rocket pods and layout surfaces. He felt the simplistic model was finished and worthy to represent his completed sidekick project.

Salford City College Eccles Sixth Form Centre BTec Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production Games Design Unit 66 – 3D Modelling HA5 – Sidekick Task 6 – Production Name Stuart Preston Date: 28th & 29th March Assigned all tasks Other units runs over To this week Started work on my robot Managed to get the basic shape finished and some more complex Pieces Date: 6and 7th May I made some progess on the weaponry of my drone sidekick I mainly focused on the “railguns” of the drone and I completed them and added some additonal detail to the rest of my drone I have become real close to finshing this I expect to be done with it next week Date: 12th May I completed my model and even put layout surfaces onto it and it quite simplistic but I feel its is a finished model that is worthy of being what it is and I have added the rocket pods also I have also done the presentation of my sidekick so this is the completed product and was done in 3 weeks
