Self evaluation Per production During thepreproduction of thefilmmymain contribution to thegroupwas the creation of thestoryboardandchanging it when askedmy drawing skills.I followedmy instructions andtasks that thegroupleadedgaveout.I turnedup to everymeeting on a monday morning.I feeli could have improvedon my involvement in thewriting of the script andnot just theideas behind it.I also shouldhave pressuredmyself to complete work to ahigher standardto makeit easier for therest of mygroupas theywould have had to changeless of my work.Mypunctualityto lessons was poor in thepre production andi wouldbe late to receive my task for thelesson.Sometask’s that I was given i didnot complete and I felt less part of thegroup. production During theproduction of thefilmmymain roles werethesecondcamera operator and acting as PhilipBarnes.As i was not in most of thevideo i helped with thepositioning and using of thecameramore. My other roles includedcontinuitymanager and checking shots matchedup, although I felt as though I could havedone abetter job at continuitychecks as during theediting process I noticed parts that didn't match up during cuts which werehard to edit round. In this part hegoes to pick theleaflet up with his right hand but theclose upis on his left hand. During thefilming I set upandpacked away thetripodandmade surethat thecamera was properlylevel for each shot I was successfulat this as noneof theshots in thefilm werelopsided. I carefully packed up theequipment after each shooting andmadesure that it went back theway it came out of thepacket when thecamerawas given back it was not damaged or missing anypieces which was apositive.

Post production Finallywhen we startedediting weeach took turns in themain chair of theediting suite so that weall had a fair amount of timeputting thevideo together.Mymain roleduring editing was matching thecuts to beats of thesong.The cutting to thebeat was on time which was aplus. I think that wecould havedone moreshots as a groupas when it came to theediting process therewas a lack of shots for match cuts andother types of cuts to show arangeof editing skills in the video.Like per production i foundmyself turning uplateto someof thelessons at thestart of editing but i changed andstarted arriving earlyandmaking up lost timeby coming in my freetime.
