of F45 with road/rails

In the leftmost intersection, segment 306 is incoming and 232 outgoing.

Linking signs to
intersections and
segments
● NeighborFinder to link signs to
closest segment
● For speed and access signs this is
sufficient
● For priority signs : via topological
network
We know the +B1 sign is linked to this intersection because 79 is incoming and 45
outgoing (in positive direction). The opposite is true in the negative direction.

Speed/access zones
● Sign applies to multiple segments
● Start and end segment are known
● We need to find a path, how?
All segments between these two signs must be accesible for cyclists, have a
maximum speed of 30km/h and cyclists have priority at each intersection.

Pathfinding
● Using the topological network
● Constructing a tree to find a path
A zone has been identified between a ZF111 and ZF113 sign including multiple
segments. The line is green which means that the speed limit is 30km/h.

Inheritance
● Same idea as for the zones
● Sign is valid until next ‘large’
intersection
● Inheritance of information across
‘small’ intersections
C3+M11 : Access prohibited for everyone except cyclists and speedpedelecs. Linked
to segment 213 but bestows its properties to segment 359.

which are mainly used to correct the source data and do a second or third run after
corrections.

○ must give priority to traffic due to
the B1 sign
B1 : Must give priority, D7 : Mandatory for cyclists to use the cycling path, C1 :
Forbidden direction for everyone, M3bis : Main sign not applicable for (motor)cycles.
