KARNATAKA EXAMINATIONS AUTHORITY

INTRODUCTION
• Karnataka Examinations Authority is introducing common online application for
KCET, UGNEET, BSC Nursing, BSC -AHS, BPO, BPT, Lateral nursing courses.
• KCET is mandatory for Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy, B.Sc
Nursing, Yoga & Naturopathy, Nursing; UGNEET is mandatory for Medical , Dental
and AYUSH courses; NATA is mandatory for Architecture.
• All students aspiring to participate in the above seat allotment process should
compulsorily fill the common application. This common application will not be
released again or after the NATA / UGNEET results.
• Grievance Management Portal – the candidates can see the status of their
application, fees paid and also upload their grievances using the same LOGIN ID
and PASSWORD used for the application. The grievances will be attended online.
• MULTIPLE COURSE SELECTION – The candidate intending to apply only for UGCET
will be eligible for Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy,
Yoga & Naturopathy. He can also select more than one courses, for ex, the same
candidate can select UGCET, UGNEET and Nursing.
• UG Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses are clubbed under UGNEET. B.Sc-AHS, BPO
and BPT are clubbed under Paramedical courses.
• Application is common to all the professional courses. Candidates who are willing to
take admission to Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, BPT, B.Sc Allied
Health Sciences, BPO Courses, should also mandatorily register themselves for CET-
2024, fill the application through online and pay the application fees.
• Please note that for registration to these courses, portal will not be enabled again
• Details of Subjects to appear in CET 2024 for various professional Courses

BEFORE FILLING OF THE APPLICATIONS

for UGCET / UGNEET is
available in the website

Candidates should keep the
following documents ready to
fill their application.
REGISTRATION FOR CANDIDATES
All the candidate should click on ‘New
User’ button and then Register first .
REGISTRATION & GENERATING
APPLICATION ID
Karnataka State Board students should select “YES” and
enter their SSLC Registration Number
If you have passed 10th std (SSLC) from
KSEAB, then select ‘YES’ and proceed. If
you were a student of CBSE/ICSE/Other
Boards in 10th Std, then choose ‘NO’ and
proceed.
If the candidate has passed 10th std from CBSE/ICSE/Other Boards, he should enter
the year of passing and Roll number.
After the SSLC candidate enters the registration number, candidate/ father/mother’s
name;Date of Birth;Gender; SATS number is fetched auto from KSEAB but CBSE/ICSE/
outside State Board students should enter Roll Number and above said details correctly.
These students should obtain SATS number from schools.
After the SSLC candidate enters the registration number, candidate/ father/mother’s

The candidate should select 12th Std for qualification. He should enter his
nationality, mobile number and e-mail details. All future communications / OTP
will be addressed to this mobile number and hence candidate should enter the
correct mobile number and keep it in mind.
Final “POP-UP” Message on Screen
After their registration is completed,
candidates should note down the LOGIN
ID shown on the screen for all future
reference.
LOGIN ID is generated and sent to the
registered mobile number of the candidate.
The candidate should use this LOGIN ID and
password entered by them in the
registration screen to LOGIN .

(as in TC/Study certificate)
details.
Eligibility Clause
ELIGIBILITY CLAUSE: Candidates should answer the questionnaire given. The eligibility
clause is auto generated based on the answers entered by the candidate. The candidate
should go through the brochure and see whether the correct clause has been generated Or
else candidate should re-visit the answers entered.
Reservation Claim
Name of the candidate /
father/mother in the RD
Certificate (SC/ST/CAT-1/2A/2B/
3A/3B/371-J-KK/RM) should be
same as in SSLC marks card and it
should be in the name of the
candidate.
• The candidate should answer the questions given. If the candidate is
claiming reservation then RD number matching is mandatory. For the RD
number to match candidate /father/mother’s name should be same as in
SSLC marks card and the certificate validity period should not have
expired.
• Apart from SC/ST/Cat-1, RD certificates of all other castes is valid only
for 05 years from the date of issue. Validity period of Income certificates
of all castes is mentioned on the certificate. RD certificates should have
RD number. If any candidate has a certificate without RD number then
he should obtain a new certificate with RD number.
• General Merit candidates claiming rural quota should submit NCLC (Non
Creamy layer certificate) compulsorily. EWS/Central OBC/Arya Vysya
certificate will not be considered in place of NCLC.
• Based on the RD number entered by the candidate, the category, sub-
caste and income will be auto fetched from Revenue Department server.
The candidate should enter the correct RD number or else he will not be
able to claim reservations. In case of wrong RD number or details, the
candidate should obtain correct RD certificate from the Tahshildar and
enter the same.
• Candidates claiming Defence / ex-defence/CAPF/Ex-CAPF/Sports/NCC
/Scouts & Guides /Anglo Indian / PWD quota should upload relevant
documents as per the information provided in the brochure in pdf
format. Candidates with physical disability will be called for medical
examination.
• Horanadu / Gadinadu candidates claiming Kannada / Tulu/Kodava/Barry
as mother tongue should upload TC /study certificate wherein it is
stated that their mother tongue is Kannada/Tulu/Kodava/Barry .
• Candidates claiming Linguistic Minority should have Tamil/Telugu/Tulu
/Kodava as their mother tongue. The candidate should have completed
10 years of study in Karnataka and study certificate should mention
above language as their mother tongue.
• Candidates claiming religious minority reservation and who have
studied 10 years in Karnataka will be considered under MM1 / MC1.
Candidates should enter the RD number of the religious minority
certificate obtained from the Tahshildar.
• Those candidates with less than 10 years of study will be considered
under MM2/MC2 quota. Candidates should enter the RD number of
the religious minority certificate obtained from the Tahshildar.
• Non-Karnataka candidates are also eligible for MM2 / MC2 quota. They
should upload religious minority certificate obtained from the respective
Tahshildar’s of that State. In case their Minority certificates are in
language other than English, the candidates should upload notorised
English translated versions of their certificates along with the original
certificate as a single PDF.
• Documents to be uploaded by Non-Karnataka / NRI /NRI ward candidates
is given in detail in the brochure which is available in the website.
• Candidates claiming Kannada medium reservation should have studied in
Kannada medium for 10 years from 1st Std to 10th Std.
• The candidates who do not have RD number for 371j certificate
(Annexure- A) and category certificates should obtain new certificates
with RD number.
Special Category Section
Candidates claiming sports, Defence and other special category should upload
their certificates in the Documents Upload Section.
Study section details
Based on the SATS number provided by the candidate, the school name, address and the
years of study will be auto fetched from the Education Dept. In case of missing details,
option is provided to the candidate, to enter missing years of study along with the
District name.
Option is provided to the candidates who have studied partly in Karnataka and partly
outside the State or fully outside the State to enter their study details.

NRI- ward details
Documents to be uploaded by Non-Karnataka / NRI /NRI ward candidates is given in the
brochure, which is available in the KEA website.
Bank details of the candidate
The candidate should enter their Correct bank account details for refund of excess fees.
Documents Upload
Candidates should mandatorily upload their photo, thumb and signature in the jpg format
(size of 50 KB each) along with other documents.

Course Selection
•MULTIPLE COURSE SELECTION – The candidate intending to apply only for UGCET will be
eligible for Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy, B.Sc Nursing Yoga
& Naturopathy. He can also select more than one courses, for ex:- the same candidate can
select UGCET, UGNEET and Nursing. UG Medical, Dental and Ayush courses are clubbed
under UGNEET. B.Sc-AHS, BPO and BPT are clubbed under UG Para-Medical.
Course Selection and Exam Center
•The candidate can opt for UGCET / UGNEET / BPO/BPT/B.Sc Allied Health courses.
•If the candidate opts for UGCET, then he will have to select two exam Districts of his
preference. Candidates selecting only UGNEET or BPO/BPT/B.Sc Allied Health will not be
eligible for UGCET.
Payment details view
Candidate can pay fee through
online banking system/QR
code/UPI/Debit/ Credit card/ net
banking. The candidate should enter
their bank account details for refund
of excess fees.
Only after the successful payment
print out of application can be
obtained. If the application print is
not available, then the candidate
has to verify if the fee payment is
successful or not.
The print out of Final application is
obtained only after all stages are
completed. Hence the candidates
are advised to check all the stages
completed and take the print out of
the application compulsorily. If the
application shows as draft copy,
then it is incomplete application.

Candidates with physical disability will be called for medical examination. • Horanadu / Gadinadu candidates claiming Kannada / Tulu/Kodava/Barry as mother tongue should upload TC /study certificate wherein it is stated that their mother tongue is Kannada/Tulu/Kodava/Barry . • Candidates claiming Linguistic Minority should have Tamil/Telugu/Tulu /Kodava as their mother tongue. The candidate should have completed 10 years of study in Karnataka and study certificate should mention above language as their mother tongue. • Candidates claiming religious minority reservation and who have studied 10 years in Karnataka will be considered under MM1 / MC1. Candidates should enter the RD number of the religious minority certificate obtained from the Tahshildar.
  • 18. • Those candidates with less than 10 years of study will be considered under MM2/MC2 quota. Candidates should enter the RD number of the religious minority certificate obtained from the Tahshildar. • Non-Karnataka candidates are also eligible for MM2 / MC2 quota. They should upload religious minority certificate obtained from the respective Tahshildar’s of that State. In case their Minority certificates are in language other than English, the candidates should upload notorised English translated versions of their certificates along with the original certificate as a single PDF. • Documents to be uploaded by Non-Karnataka / NRI /NRI ward candidates is given in detail in the brochure which is available in the website. • Candidates claiming Kannada medium reservation should have studied in Kannada medium for 10 years from 1st Std to 10th Std. • The candidates who do not have RD number for 371j certificate (Annexure- A) and category certificates should obtain new certificates with RD number.
  • 19. Special Category Section Candidates claiming sports, Defence and other special category should upload their certificates in the Documents Upload Section.
  • 20. Study section details Based on the SATS number provided by the candidate, the school name, address and the years of study will be auto fetched from the Education Dept. In case of missing details, option is provided to the candidate, to enter missing years of study along with the District name. Option is provided to the candidates who have studied partly in Karnataka and partly outside the State or fully outside the State to enter their study details.
  • 22. NRI- ward details Documents to be uploaded by Non-Karnataka / NRI /NRI ward candidates is given in the brochure, which is available in the KEA website.
  • 23. Bank details of the candidate The candidate should enter their Correct bank account details for refund of excess fees.
  • 24. Documents Upload Candidates should mandatorily upload their photo, thumb and signature in the jpg format (size of 50 KB each) along with other documents.

Course Selection •MULTIPLE COURSE SELECTION – The candidate intending to apply only for UGCET will be eligible for Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Veterinary, Pharmacy, B.Sc Nursing Yoga & Naturopathy. He can also select more than one courses, for ex:- the same candidate can select UGCET, UGNEET and Nursing. UG Medical, Dental and Ayush courses are clubbed under UGNEET. B.Sc-AHS, BPO and BPT are clubbed under UG Para-Medical.

Course Selection and Exam Center •The candidate can opt for UGCET / UGNEET / BPO/BPT/B.Sc Allied Health courses. •If the candidate opts for UGCET, then he will have to select two exam Districts of his preference. Candidates selecting only UGNEET or BPO/BPT/B.Sc Allied Health will not be eligible for UGCET.
  • 28. Payment details view Candidate can pay fee through online banking system/QR code/UPI/Debit/ Credit card/ net banking. The candidate should enter their bank account details for refund of excess fees. Only after the successful payment print out of application can be obtained. If the application print is not available, then the candidate has to verify if the fee payment is successful or not. The print out of Final application is obtained only after all stages are completed. Hence the candidates are advised to check all the stages completed and take the print out of the application compulsorily. If the application shows as draft copy, then it is incomplete application.
