- #14: leveraging any combination of public or private clouds, and even on premises storage, the dynamic hybrid-Cloud storage allows you to use one cloud today, and, switch to another at any point. Aparavi will continue to allow data recovery from the old cloud, while putting all additional and changed data to the new one. Our Data Centric retenty policy allows different data to be sent to different clouds and retained for different lengths of time based on its classification., this comes in handy because not all data is created equal nor does all data need to be held for predetermined lengths of time. data in the old cloud will shrink due to cloud active data pruning, a patent pending technology which utilizes sub file granularity to remove files and portions of files as your policy defines. Advanced archive searches mimics e-discovery with content aware search. This works with our data pruncing for Policy and on demand discovery of data for destruction, this is designed around GDPRs “right to be forgotten” and will remove data stored by Aparavi. We specifically chose to document our data format and will place it in the public domain so that other tools can read data with or without us, and to prevent any complications with long term recovery. This works hand in hand with our agile storage model to remove storage and vendor lock in.
