  Narrative A group ofteenage friends decide to go on a camping trip at the notorious ‘Weeping Willows’ forest, a place where Bloody Mary infamously executed traitors and criminals. The first scene of the trailer will be an establishing shot of the lake that is nearby the campsite, this is very conventional of slasher films as it indicates isolation and loneliness. The next scene will show the group introducing the forest, it is here where the audience have first glimpse of what each person’s character is like. Here, viewers will be able to choose their favourite and even see which character they are most likely to relate to. After the introduction, the teenagers enter Weeping Willows and engage in heavy drinking and partying. It is here the audience will be introduced to the killer by the camera filming them behind trees (eyes of the killer) to make it seem like the killer is watching them. The first night, nobody is murdered, leaving the audience slightly relieved, yet scared for what is to come.

  Title Ideas We hadto choose a title for the trailer. Below you could see the ‘Title’ ideas we came up with: ❖ The Executioner ❖ Weeping Willow ❖ The Unexpected ❖ Hide and Seek ❖ Never Turn Your Back ❖ The Request to Death After choosing several title ideas we settled on using ‘Weeping Willow’s’, this was due to several reasons. Title Colour Scheme Ideas ❏ Red (to represent death - antagonist kills the victims gruesomely) ❏ White (to represent innocence - innocent group of teenagers get killed) ❏ Black (to represent evil - the personality and the evil side of the antagonist)
