  What have youlearnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? What I have learnt from technologies from constructing this product is how important programs such as Photoshop and survey monkey is in terms of creating a magazine and the importance to know how to use these programs to create a media product.

  Which technologies haveyou used for your research, planning, production and evaluation stages of your product?

  research • The technologiesI have used to do my research is survey monkey the reason why I have used this because then I can get thoughts and opinions on how my magazine should look and what the forms and conventions should contain such as the title for the masthead.

  planning • The technologiesI have used do my planning is publisher the reason why I used publisher is to see what my magazine layout is going to look like. It has helped because then I have a rough idea where conventions such as cover lines and the masthead.

  production • The technologiesI used for my production are Publisher, Photoshop, Fireworks and a Camera. I used publisher because it’s the program that I used to put my magazine on and is useful for me to input text and edit the format of text. I used Photoshop to be able to edit the magazine features such as the masthead and the image in order to make improvements to it for example the masthead has been improved because as you can see from the pictures above the colour has been changed and there has been a picture edited with the masthead. I have used fireworks to edit some of the features I couldn't do on Photoshop so far example if I couldn't use the magic wand tool on Photoshop. I used the camera in able to take a picture so I can an image on my front cover.

  evaluation • The technologiesI have used to do my evaluation are PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Blogger, Slideshare, creazaeducation and a Voice recorder. • I used slideshare in able to import a PowerPoint slide into a online presentation so people can view it online. • I used a voice recorder in able to record peoples voice and get their opinions on my project and is more effective as it is more creative. • I used creazaeducation to be able to edit my voice recordings such as trimming it, it also allowed me to input images and turn it into a movie.

  Which new skillshave you developed and what skills have you improved? • The skills I have learnt and developed is Photoshop I had little knowledge on using Photoshop but I know how to use the program better to do edits such as the magic wand tool, add colour to text, edit picture to make the character darker or lighter. I have also developed my knowledge on how to take better pictures with a camera such as camera angles, camera shots, mis en scene and how to take the actual picture. You can say I learnt to be able to use programs such as survey monkey and creazeeducation in order to improve my evaluation and for research.

  If you hadto make another music magazine, what would help you further develop your use of technology? • I think I can still improve on my knowledge on programs such as Photoshop as it would help me make my magazine look better. I could also improve on using tools such as the gradient tool so I can edit the features on my magazine. I could also look at more magazines to have a better look on how they look like. It would also be useful to know more programs I could use to help me create my magazine.
