FRIDAY 9th

NOVEMBER 2012
Spud’s Interview
Key Dates:
Who’s who?
• There are a number of
  people involved in this
  module which can lead
  to breakdowns in
  communication and
  misunderstandings.

• The challenges of
  coordination are
  significant!
• YOU! (Erm, so like, erm TOTALLY! Duh!)
• The Employment Partnership Office (EPO)
• CRB Check (These can take up to six weeks: If
yours gets posted TODAY it might be back 16th
  November!)
• Potential Placement Employers
• Your EVENTUAL Placement (7th January 2012)
• (Please amend page 2 of your guidance booklet)
Ensure that you are enrolled on the
          course on moodle!
• Me (& another lecturer….)
• Your progress tutor; whom you should discuss
your placement with in Progress Tutorial week
w/b 19th November. Because, they might help
you to think about Part 3 of the Pre-Placement
Portfolio “The reflective piece” (750 words).
 (Submission date: 14th December)
Let’s talk some more about me!
• I will help you with the academic aspects of
the module; essentially the 2 assignment
  components:
1. Pre-placement Portfolio (30%): 14 December
2. Placement Report (70%): 01 March

NB: If you clarify your ideas effectively in these
two documents…
Defining Success: (The Pre placement
              Report)

“If you don't know
where you are going,
any road will get you
there.”
Defining Success: (In the portfolio)

“If You Don't Know
What You Want, You
Won't Know When
You've Gotten It…”
Because the clock is ticking
