- 3. My concentration focuseson my father. When I first began my concentration, my father passed away suddenly. I used my concentration to cope through his death. I wanted to capture what my dad meant to me, and try to express myself through my art. I used watercolor, acrylic, and design elements such as line, movement, color, and contrast. I showed who my dad was, where he was from, and those he loved. I wanted to capture the love and happiness he brought to his family and friends.
