SBAS 2018 Headlines- New Grade 1-9 Attainment 8 - Average per student is 5.3 (5.5 is a grade B) 78% of students gained level 4 and above in English and Maths 52% of students gained level 5 and above in English and Maths Progress 8 - ā Provisionally very strong and positive - final report in November ā Students are making more progress over 5 years nationally than others. ā Over the past two years we have been in the top 5% of the country Forecast for this cohort - ā Attainment 8 - Average per student is 5.1 currently and hoping for 6.1 (5.5 is a grade B) ā 5 or more in English and Maths - currently 55% Forecast nearing 80% ā Progress forecasted to be over half a grade per subject more than national average.
- 5. SBAS 2018 Headlines- New Grade 1-9 Students attaining the top grade 9 - With the new grading system, students who attain Level 9 have reached a standard beyond A* from previous years. Particular students in this category were: Two students had 8 Grade 9s Three students had 7 Grade 9s (only 750 students in the country achieved this) Three students had 6 Grade 9s
- 6. SBAS Attendance andAttainment at SBAS 2018 Of the students who had attendance below 95%, 65% of these failed to make expected progress. The 10 students with the worst attendance were .75 of a grade down on average in each subject. All students who achieved on average 3 grades above their target grade had an attendance rate of 98%+. As did 31 of the 35 who achieved an A on average.
