If you practice yoga, you experience the most "highness" that yoga offers – as if you are calm, connected, clear and focused in your body. In this space, it can feel like a dark cloud that was following you around before orbit has suddenly disappeared. Or, that negative thought, feeling, or physical sensation is miraculously reduced when eaten remotely. You fade away from your practice, and no unwanted experience can take away from your calm and serenity. This is why yoga is often practiced for its calming and relaxing effects on both the mind and body. Beyond calm and relaxation, you can experience a deeper connection between your mind and body, as well as a greater intimacy with your inner experiences, e.g., thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations.
