The Lady of Death
fter the success on Kisllar’s mission, they fly towards the beach. In the middle of
their journey, Dandare asks the Druyhento stop the Mogbi Spheres, and makes
a serious comment.
“Can you notice the deathly silence that is dominating the night on the Earth, at
this moment?” she asks.
Kisllar pays attention and finds out that Dandare was right. Therewas something
strange really happeningand Kisllar agrees with an enphatic nod. The night was too
darkandthesmalllights in the distancegooff oneafteranother, likepiecesof a domino
game, leaving behind a lugubrious trail.
Soon, it seemed the light had been extinct on the whole surface of the Earth. There
were no more stars in the sky and the moon had become red. A hot and strong wind
was blowing, whistling through the trees. The silence was broken, from time to time,
by the sound of night birds flapping their wings, crows cawing and owls peeping.
Kisllar closes her eyes and travels around the world in her thoughts, because she
wanted to know if the same was going on in farawaylands. She goes to every country
in the world and makes sure that the chaos had been set in the whole planet. With her
voice chocking, Kisllar says:” It’s the war, Dandare. We must immediately go to the
place of my arrival here on the Earth. I’ll try to contact Haster and warn them...”
Before she could conclude her sentence, the sound of horse hooves on the ground
echoesin the air. Theyboth looktowardswherethesoundcame.Theysee a giant cloud
of black smoke in the middle of the road, very close to them.
Three black knights with gold armours, riding giant animals, come from the cloud.
The creaturesriddenbythe knightshadthe headand the bodyof a lizard, the legs and
paws of a horse and the tail of an eel. On the tip of its tail there was a huge rattle,
resembling that of a poisonous serpent.
The knight that came in front of the others was carrying a gold cornucopia, from
which some bright black dust came and spread in the air. He was the knight of
ambition and spread his wickedness through mankind.
A little further back, on his right side, another knight came. He carried in each of
his hands two ugly faces, one made of bronze and another made of silver. Both had
horrible features, they had eyes of rubi stones and huge, irregular buck teeth in their
half open mouths. The bronze ugly face sucked the mortals’ hope and dreams. The

silver one blew glittery black dust, impregnating the air with jealousy, deceit and
trickery. He was the knight of heresy.
On the left side of the first knight, there came the third one. He was holding two
hearts made of black tourmalines. Black lights camefrom these hearts and faded away
in the air, contaminatingthe living beings with indifference, coldness, ruthlessnessand
cruelty. He was the knight of anger.
Kisllar tries to say something, but Dandare whispers to her:” Do not say anything.
We shall wait a little longer before taking action. Do not afflict yourself!”
Kisllar obeys the Tantrun once more. The three black knights suddenly stop, it
seemed they were waiting for something. Both the knights and the creatures they were
riding remain motionless, like statues. The loud sound of a cornet echoes in the air,
breakingthesilence in whichthe Earthwas until that moment. The creatureshit their
hooves nervously on the ground, giving off sparks. They seem to fuss, but their knights
don’t, they are still static.
From the dense black cloud, there comes a faint maroon glow and two beautiful
black horses come from this glow. They have their heads ornamented with a gold
bridle. On their manes several precious stones are sparkling in the shimmering dim
light of two torches tied to the sides of a chariot pulled by them. This chariot was
bringing the scariest creature one could imagine. An elderly woman, very tall, gaunt,
wrinkled, with the eyes of a snake, shining like fire. Her nose had six nostrils forming
a circle, so that she could smell everything coming from all sides. Her toothless mouth
was huge and when she opened it, it seemed she was going to swallow the world. Her
enormous thin hands had long thin fingers. Each fingertip had small mouths full of
teeth, more than her real mouth could fit or lacked. Her feet were long and her toes
were poisonous serpents. Her hair was a bunch of thin thorny branches which moved
as if they were alive. She was dressed in a long gown. It was dirty, tattared and its
colour was light purple. Her skin was greyish and her smell was putrid. She was the
perfect image of devil incarnate. She had in her grotesque hands two big horns, a gold
one and a silver one. She spinned them in circles above her head and streams of sparks
came from them and were thrown into the air.
The gold horn spread the illusion in the world and the silver horn spread the

through the world.
The Druyhen Zorihan looks at Dandare and asks her:” Who is this evil creature
with such a repulsive look?”

The Tantrun goes on explaining.” Anger, materialism, ingratitude, selfishness and

evil.”
“The world lives a great nightmare and good dreams are being extinguished from
the Earth,” she continues,”the Zorihans are ‘The Ones Born from the Dreams’. If the
dreams no longer exist, the Zorihans will not exist either.”
Kisllar feels sad and asks:” Can we change that?”
