- 4. It is a switch which turns ON an electrical circuit by any sound and turns OFF automaticaly. In our project we are controlling a LED by the sound of clap, whistle, etc… 4

- 7. About Components LED-Light emitting diodes are the light source. ICI-NE555 generates accurate timing pulses. Transistor-is used for amplifying and switching. - 9. This circuit is made for the automated switching by the sound of a clap or whistle. In this circuit the microphone picks up the sound signals and converts it in to electrical signals. 9
- 10. The transistor will amplify the signals and send them to capacitor. Capacitor will get charged. IC will give us the output and our LED will start glowing. 10
- 11. How we did it We searched for an interesting mini project on the internet. We selected the “NIGHT LAMP” but our project matched with other group. So we selected the “SOUND SWITCH” as our mini project. Then we made a circuit diagram and check the availability of our required components. We went to market and buy the components and tools required for our project. We completed the circuit according to the diagram with the help of an iron solder. In the end we make it look better. 11
- 12. Advantages You can turn anything ON from any location, simply by clapping your hands or producing any kind of sound. It turns OFF automatically. It involves mobility-impaired person. Disadvantages Unnecessary disturbances may occur. Generally seen as simpler for most use cases to use a traditional light switch. 12
- 13. Future Scope We can use this as Remote Controller. We can increase the range of this equipment by using a better Mic. Applications We can control: Fan Motor Tube light Air conditioner, and etc… 13
