Dr. Vaqar Ahmed is a renowned expert in sustainable development, and international cooperation. He is Programme Team Leader for UKaid supported AAWAZ-II Independent Monitoring. With a wealth of experience working with institutions such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the World Bank Group, Dr. Ahmed has a track record of delivering impactful development projects in Asia and Africa. His expertise extends to macroeconomic policy, tax and trade reforms, and monitoring and evaluation. He continues to serve as adjunct faculty with Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), PEP Network, and UK's University of Nottingham.
