Medhold demonstrates what that looks like in practice. Old Mutual Private Equity(OMPE) has agreed to exit Medhold to Sanlam Private Equity, subject to regulatory approvals. Since 2018 earnings rose 2.6x as the OMPE team worked with management to expand Medhold’s portfolio across critical devices and strengthened its position across Southern Africa.
