Trivia :
1. Not to be confused with the German group with the same USA-TEAM name. Yes we were quarrelling over it at the time but it was all utterly silly puberty territorial pissings. We actually met with the German team at Danish Gold and everything was okay. MAIN RELEASES: Music-Assembler and the Rockmonitor series, there was always a big focus on SID music. Music-Assembler was also created but never released on the Amiga.
2. There was an unknown third member named Andrew, our swapper. He joined later on in 1988 or 1989.
3. The 1001 Crew used our sinus table based circular sprite motion in their intro - they lived nearby and we had good contact with them. Honey of the 1001 crew named MC's Galway like soundmonitor tune "Ode to Martin" since it had no name. MC later created the music for Honey's game "Rollerboard".
4. The "Rockmonitor" music editors were modified versions of Sound Monitor by Chris Huelsbeck with added digital sample playback.
5. MC became an active member again after a 36 year break and is working on new things. Stay tuned!

We were around in the earliest days but ofcourse nobody had ever heard of us back then.
The whole Dutch versus German hate was big big bullshit.
We met the German USA team at Danish Gold party @ Odense and they actually brought a baseball bat with anti-DUSAT stuff written on it.
Ofcourse nothing happened, just a bunch of teens messing about.
Danish Gold was just too much fun meeting your friends in real life, I believe after that the hating stuff stopped. Thanks for inviting us back then Henrik. |
