Handlestory :
"Yaruni" is the name of my character. I decided to start using it rather than "owen2a03" once Discord decided to rework the username system on their service, and I had to choose one.
It was a random name that came to my partner in a dream in 2021. I had not yet named my character.
BUN is the initials I use for arcade games :)
Trivia :
Despite being from the US, I run a PAL C64 I imported from the UK in 2021, as I wanted access to the broader range of software out there. So, my sids run on the PAL standard.
I'm not the greatest when it comes to software.. I'm certainly no coder. However, I do like doing music and drawing. I spend more time working on hardware, such as making peripherals for my 64.
I considered becoming a more outgoing, "real" contributor to the scene around the turn of the new year 2025, I registered for multiple forums, got my hands on more equipment over time, and tried to work through my motivation problems better. I joined CSDb to try out putting my work more out there, and hoped for it to be a source of motivation to produce more with my beloved breadbin. I will admit that it was an intimidating decision ... but I suppose I got tired of keeping to myself so much. Better late than never?
I picked up dabbling in code a bit around the start of 2026, after inspiration from a few sources :)
